Sigh – Now Jindal?
Politiho -
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal forcefully rejected Mitt Romney’s claim that he lost because of President Barack Obama’s “gifts” to minorities and young voters.
Asked about the failed GOP nominee’s reported comments on a conference call with donors earlier Wednesday, the incoming chairman of the Republican Governors Association became visibly agitated.
Then Jindal goes on to “explain further”, completely avoiding the premise of Romney’s point.
“No, I think that’s absolutely wrong,” he said at a press conference that opened the RGA’s post-election meeting here. “Two points on that: One, we have got to stop dividing the American voters. We need to go after 100 percent of the votes, not 53 percent. We need to go after every single vote.
“And, secondly, we need to continue to show how our policies help every voter out there achieve the American Dream, which is to be in the middle class, which is to be able to give their children an opportunity to be able to get a great education. … So, I absolutely reject that notion, that description. I think that’s absolutely wrong.”
What on Crap Island does this have to do with Romney saying that Obama won by buying his votes?
He reiterated the points for emphasis.
“I don’t think that represents where we are as a party and where we’re going as a party,” he said. “That has got to be one of the most fundamental takeaways from this election: If we’re going to continue to be a competitive party and win elections on the national stage and continue to fight for our conservative principles, we need two messages to get out loudly and clearly: One, we are fighting for 100 percent of the votes, and secondly, our policies benefit every American who wants to pursue the American dream. Period. No exceptions.”
JIndal, you ignorant slut, you are turning into what I loathe – a specious gob flapper. You’re talking and saying nothing.

Romney is saying that no matter what your message is you cannot defeat Santa Claus at the polls when you’re dealing with man-children who want nothing but goodies. Romney is right. You’re just patronizing.

Ironicly both Jindal and Romney are part of that establishment.

I personally think Romney executed perfectly the kind of campaign he was trying to run. It might not have been the campaign to win, but he did a hell of job. And I was not originally a Romney guy.
These Monday morning quarter backs should kiss his ass. It’s bull shit and quiet honestly I expected more from Jindal.

And Jindal goes full wolverine on Romney for saying it. “as if” it is some odd thing to acknowledge.
These folks have lost their flippin mind. Republicans suck in victory (see 2010) – and the suck in defeat (see 2012).

Show me a real man who loves America and cares about our Judeo-Christian heritage more than he cares about money, and then I may vote again. Ah but he must have millions of dollars to put towards campaigning – so the love of money is somewhat of a requirement. And the root to all evil.

And when I read about people like Alec Baldwin saying that secessionists should call their new country “United States of Caucasians” it makes me want to go all “God Father Meets Agent Anderson/Gene Hackman” on him. Just scare the ever-loving you-know-what out of people like him. Because you know they aren’t going to just shut the hell up on their own. See, we’re looking in the wrong direction. It shouldn’t be in the direction of the government at all. We need to turn back to raising a family that reflects what was once so great about this country.
Sadly, the ‘leaders’ today are from screwed up homes (starting with Bill and Barry) that reflect so many screwed up homes today. That’s why they can relate and we can’t.
They’ve tapped into enough screwed up people with screwed up ideas about entitlement, etc. Succeeding generations raised on the government dole. Rewarding single mothers with multiple children from multiple absent fathers, etc.
We lost this country about fifty years ago when we abdicated the responsibility to raise our children up “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” and chose instead to make government our god.

Not entirely surprised at Jindal. Louisiana remains intrenched in that “old boy” corrupt Democrat machine mindset, even as their somewhat ideologically scattered Republican party gains traction. If a Republican comes out and acts like a real conservative, the power base in East Jefferson and St. Tammany parishes goes ape-shit and throws them under the bus every time. Louisiana is nominally a “red state” but the deeply entrenched statist-socialist underpinnings aren’t too far below the surface. Jindal’s just a product of that system.

November 16th, 2012
Wow..where to begin with Jindal?
Let’s start out with this beauty:
“Two points on that: One, we have got to stop dividing the American voters. We need to go after 100 percent of the votes, not 53 percent. We need to go after every single vote.
“And, secondly, we need to continue to show how our policies help every voter out there achieve the American Dream, which is to be in the middle class, which is to be able to give their children an opportunity to be able to get a great education. … So, I absolutely reject that notion, that description. I think that’s absolutely wrong.”
It is IMPOSSIBLE for the GOP to go after 100% of the vote. Im-FREAKING-possible. Would you like to know why, Governor Jindal? That’s because a majority of Americans could give two-craps about the “American Dream.” The American Dream has been lost in a society of give-me-stuff over the value of sweat-on-your-brow. The American Dream is trampled upon when the wealthy of this nation, through their industry, are demonized and their status is a pejorative for political purposes. The American Dream can never survive when people become so out-of-touch with what America IS and WHERE IT CAME FROM that they depend on main stream media outlets, celebrities, and social media to gain education about national issues. How can one fulfill an American Dream when the ‘dreamer’ doesn’t even comprehend what made America that fertile soil for a dream to become reality?
There is no way the GOP can reach out to feminists, atheists, the GBLT community, socialists/communists, or any other class that proudly titles themselves as “liberals”. The GOP will lose everything if they try to go “middle of the road” to pick up voters who already consider conservatism an “enemy” to their political and social causes. The GOP cannot compete on the same ground with the DNC who has adopted the ancient Roman policy of “bread and circus” to pacify the masses. Unwavering adherence to the principles and values that made America free and capable of being the land of ‘dreams’ is what needs to be resurrected. If this country rejects those values and principles, then we are on a direct route to the downfalls of other great civilizations and governments.
The GOP needs to tighten the hull of their ship and stop the leaks these next four years. If they refuse to do that and simply start a dog-eat-dog mentality, then liberalism will be the new political standard for this nation, at least for the rest of it’s short-lived life.

Bad Brad, let’s get something straight here. Romney is as phony as a three dollar bill. It wasn’t all that long ago that everybody was bitching about this loser that was foisted upon us by outright fraud in the primary process.
The primary in Michigan was so goddam corrupt that the former State Attorney General who sits on the MI-GOP Credentials Committee referred to the Delegate corruption as “Third World voting”. That also caused Saul Anuzis to get bounced out of the State Party too.
Ferchrissakes, we didn’t even find out until three weeks after the Iowa caucus that Willard didn’t win the damn thing – Santorum did.
If I actually believed for one second that my vote counted when looking at places during the general election that had 100% voter turnout, I might have continued on about Willard.
Bottom line. The GOP ran their best “Anyone but Obama” candidate that lost to McCain in ’08, and stunk up place.
Boehner raised the debt ceiling thus giving Obama room to campaign with.
Why bitch now?

Any politician that says we need to focus on 100% of the voters is an idiot or a socialist.
The only way to get 100% support is through force and coercion.
Mitt was not my first or second choice. But he was the only alternative in what I thought would be an “election”.
I was wrong. This was a circus, not a fair election.

Captain Bloodblister:
You still need to get an ultra conservative elected. And you can’t. Right now I’d settle for a little good, instead of a whole lotta bad. Better to bend then to break. The only way I see out of this mess now is to give Obama everything he wants, short of gun control, and make it very clear he owns it. Then you need to sit back and wait until the welfare checks don’t go out because there’s no money. It’s now going to be a long painful journey.
