In President Obama’s tradition of finding the wrong person for the job, word has leaked out that he is considering Senator John Kerry as his next Secretary of Defense
President Obama is considering asking Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) to serve as his next defense secretary, part of an extensive rearrangement of his national security team that will include a permanent replacement for former CIA director David H. Petraeus.
Although Kerry is thought to covet the job of secretary of state, senior administration officials familiar with the transition planning said that nomination will almost certainly go to Susan E. Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

I don’t have the words at this moment to describe my seething disgust on John Kerry being involved in any direct decision process involving the men and women in the military.

This is what I mean about going after your representatives–anyone who votes to confirm this a$$hole as SOD nears to be tarred and feathered. The Obama administration is purposely doing this and we know it. There is no way John Kerry should be anywhere near our troops, but this is just to demoralize them further. Democrats hate the military and prove it very passing day.
Susan Rice for SOS–yeah, the woman who told bold faced lies regarding Benghazi and a well-known hater of Israel and a supporter of Iran–that’ll work out real well for us.

I still have my copy of “Unfit for Command” by Kerry’s Swiftboat comrades. If Kerry was confirmed, what’s the percentage of immediate retirements of Senior NCO’s who would refuse to serve under a National Command Authority of Obama & Kerry? I won’t offer an opinion of what Senior Officers would do.

I have never had any respect for John Kerry since I first hear about him back when I was a senior in HS 40 yrs. ago. And as a Navy Vet at the end of the Viet Nam war, he is one of the Navy Officers I disrespect and loathe the most. Too bad his guys didn’t frag him in Viet Nam. Kerry is a coward and a chicken shit of the first magnitude. I won’t say for him to rot in Hell, his own actions speak for themselves and will take him there.
