Together, wherever we go. I miss those days.
I miss my country,
Thank you, Fur.
YES. We are in this together.
Now it’s time to face up to reality.
Do a major gut-check.
Are you in or are you out?
Theme song for IOTW. Love Dean Martin!!
That was great.
We could use more uplifting stuff like this, if ya know what I mean.
Now how about Obama, Holder, Jarrett, Axelrod,Clinton together, discussing Petraeus?
Man, that America looked like they could go to the moon. To THE MOON, baby!
Now we are surrounded by freaks who think we owe them a lifestyle replete with food, shelter, and free French Ticklers, and they thank us by shitting on cop cars.
The days before America became a fascist shithole of deadbeat RAAAACISTS.
Norman this is not up lifting to me because when these guys were being uplifting to decent American People, a group of communists in hollywood, in the media, and in acadamedia, were plotting. They just won on 11/6/12.
@Moe Tom, I hear ya.
I don’t suppose you’ve got a Time Machine layin’ around there, do ya?
Just sayin’ Brother.
We need entertainers today instead of “actors”
This guy was always my favorite of the rat pack.
Lets bump it up a notch
@Bad Brad — but this is the ultimate:
As for Mr. Bojangles, this is the classic:
hanoverfist, jclady, I’m just glad you agree, talk about talent. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy were magic.
@Bad Brad — so sad that we don’t have talent like this anymore.
Bingo called Francis “Bones”. Heh.
Every year I look forward to hearing Bing Crosby sing White Christmas. This year the words will have extra special meaning.
Compare the Dean Martin Show with what on today. It’s a joke. At the time I hated when Don Rickles was on that show, I would welcome that now. And that drunk guy just killed me.
Foster Brooks, I think. Sorry, had a couple brain cells doing something.
Ann: He could have been referring to his svelte physique. Frankie was often called “that skinny kid from Hoboken” in his early days. Then again, it could also be innuendo that Ol’ Blue Eyes had “made his bones” (committed a murder as part of a Cosa Nostra initiation).
At any rate, can you imagine what the BAR TAB must have been for that trio?

Isn’t it amazing just how desensitized we have become that entertainment from fifty or sixty years ago that was considered risque in its day has now become ‘the good old days’ and something to yearn for? How the mighty have fallen.
Tears for our past………..
Moe Tom, Bad Brad, and Norman: Take me with you on that time machine. I’m ready to go.
From a time when Men were Men and a dollar was a dollar, How I miss those times.
F.D.R. in Hell
** sigh **
Reminds me of Yalta… with music.
