Once they do raise taxes on the rich – what’s their plan after that? I mean, their lie is that raising taxes on the rich is part of a plan to balance the budget – which is their lie of a plan to get the economy going again. But none of their lie has anything to do with reality.

So they raise taxes on the rich and the economy gets worse. They’ve got to know that is what’s going to happen. So what do they have up their sleeves next? What is the next Big Lie?

Kevin, the next Big Lie would be “we didn’t raise taxes enough on enough people.” Suddenly, a “millionaire” is someone that makes over $100,000 a year.

I’ve been seeing opinions that much of Hollywood doesn’t fall into the 250K rule because acting isn’t considered full time work. I can’t verify this, but apparently the wording of the tax hike is a bit more complex that just ‘everybody over 250K’.

Plus, it’s 250K for families, 200K for individuals. For now.

The democrats are pretending that $250k is a lot of money. It is right now, but with the inevitable hyper-inflation due to the nation’s massive debt, $250k will soon be about what a part-time minimum wage earner will make in a year. Then the democrats can extract an even larger percentage of income from more people.

Go ahead. wealthy taxpayers will leave the country, just like they did CA when they screwed it up, just like they did in France. Everytime you take more away, there will be less to take, and consequently the burden will more and more fall on those that make 100K per year, then 50, then 30. IT WILL NEVER STOP UNLESS WE STOP IT.
It’s obvious to anyone with a brain that it’s better to actually have a budget to REDUCE SPENDING than kill the golden goose, but the ultimate goal here is to steal the gold and give Americans the goose, under any pretense, and it always has been.
