The universities are the centers of ideological hatred and progressive intolerance, so this is no surprise.
At The Blaze, “UNIVERSITY PRES. SCOLDS STUDENTS FOR INVITING ANN COULTER TO SPEAK: ‘DISAPPOINTED’ WOULD BE ‘TREMENDOUS UNDERSTATEMENT’.”
And at the school’s newspaper, The Fordham Observer, “UPDATED: McShane Responds to College Republicans’ Cancellation of Ann Coulter Event.”

So, the president was disappointed at the invitation, yet he said to dis-invite Ms Coulter was not the correct action.
Does this mean that the College Republicans student club couldn’t take the time to read the President’s entire letter?
Does it mean that the College Republicans student club only listened to the media account of the President’s letter?
If this is indicative of the young Republicans at Fordham University, I think we are in deeper trouble than I thought possible.

What a shame. The Pope needs to reassign this jesuit to some small village in the amazon that needs some spiritual help. Maybe they can help him find his way back to what is important. Things like free speech and freedom of the individual and not their idea of “social justice”.

The so called Republican Students at Fordham are simply a crop of ballless RINO’s. The Fordham Rams my ass, there are nothing but lambs. When I was a student at John Jay College, (The Cop College) in NYC back in the 70′s, William Kunsler, attorney for the black panthers, the weather underground and a shitload of other scum organizations was invited to speak at the College by a radical group of left wingers and a few radical professors.
Nobody objected. It’s a College after all let’s hear what he has to say.
There was about 100 people in attendence as I remember, About 50 / 50 active cops and young Criminal Justice students. Ther New Centurians, as we called them.
Kunsler spoke for about 30 minutes. Defending his position on defending the defenceless. Murderers, Bombers, and so forth. He received aplause from the Centurians, Then, feeling quite safe, he mingled among the students.
I spoke with him myself. He was sweating profusely even though the temperature in the hall was comfortable. I noted his long salt and pepper hair down to his shoulders, his pastey complection, his nerveousness, and his darting eyes. I said to him: “Mr. Kunsler, what do you think of your reception here at John Jay”? He looked at me briefly and said. “I’m flabbergasted.” He then moved on.
That was a long time ago. And things have certainly changed. I made a note of that somewhere.
