I Know How You Feel
… but this is the beginning of a new week. Let’s take a deep breath and thank God that we still live in the best country in the world. Yea, we don’t have the best presidential administration running our government, but WE are the country. There are still 50% of us – or more! – that are sane and virtuous. Let’s remember that and stay strong together.

My thanks to you too, Claudia. I love animals… they’re delicious. When I saw the pig picture, I immediately thought of ham for Thanksgiving. Yum!

Thank you Claudia. Great selection of pictures.
We are all disappointed, angry and a wide range of other emotions this week.
With each other and our own furry family members we will get through what very well maybe dark days ahead.

Tuesday night, I was lying on the couch crying out of frustration, fear for the future of the country, anger over stupid people, supreme dislike of Obama, and my dog put her head on my chest and gave me that look. I hugged the stuffing out of her.

I can understand why these animals are so sad.
They know most of them will be on the menu before 4 more years of Obama is up.

Yes, Claudia, the pics are perfect. And every one of them represents a creature which is more intelligent than the typical DemocRAT.

I needed this.
I have been waking up angry.
I am grieving for my country.
This is why I started my kitty blog when all of the liberal hate and division started 4 years ago.
I am pretty sure this election was hacked by some foreign country, or some shirthead probably right down the street from me.
If kids can hack into the school computer to change their grades from C to A, hacking into a voting machine and changing a vote from Romney to Oblamer is easily done.
Okay I am done now *slinks away to get moar koffee*

Thank you Claudia for the “food for thoughts”, but I have to protest a choice of photos. They supposed to keep us up, not sad. Especially forth one from the top. Every time I look at it, I see nancy pelosi, harry reed and practically every liberal.
Not good Claudia, not good.

Fifth row kitty – so sad…..
Four years ago the despair lasted until February, when Rick Santelli made one statement on a lame-ass cable TV channel. Then the idea gelled, and momentum grew and we had an enormous grass roots reaction that lead to the 2010 “shellacking”.
I believe we will not loose that momentum. We are still temporarily grieving that we were not succesful last week.
Let’s be the logical people that conservatives are.
Let’s analize what happened and determine what went right and what went wrong, learn from that analysis, then establish a plan for the next four years.
Ann Barnhardt has a plan. Bill Whittle has a polar opposite plan. I believe other plans will come together and soon the momentum will resume.
I am optimistic!

Brave New Morning everyone.
Warning: Diatribe and Pep Talk Follows
Cheery thought of the day.
We are the duck and cover generation that grew up in the knowledge that we were an hour or so from nuclear annihilation. Each day the Doomsday clock ticked closer to midnight until suddenly one day it wasn’t relevant anymore. The competing political / economic system that threaten us with destruction collapsed under its own inefficient weight and it has found its rightful place in the dustbin of history.
Now our fellow country men seek to pull that failed system from the garbage, expand the freedom killing government control that we have already tolerated in our society and bring us closer to their utopian vision that leads to national collapse.
We out lasted and prospered in the Cold War world by living like there would be a tomorrow. We took responsible for ourselves and our actions. We held down jobs, paid taxes, took care of our families, and contributed to our communities. We gave the world an example of a successful and prosperous society and we outlasted the bastards.
We live lives of responsibility today rather than the liberal philosophy of living like there is no tomorrow. We oppose the Democratic life of narcissism, cynicism and nihilism. The life of abandoning oneself to hedonism, blaming those around us for our poor life outcomes and expecting someone else to fix it for us is repugnant to us.
None of us expect to be taken care of by others. We revere independence. We respect the courage of taking personal responsibility for our behavior and outcomes. We believe in our ability to overcome all set backs. We seek the guidance of a moral code handed down to us by our Judeo-Christian forefathers.
Our forefathers fought tyranny abroad through the 20th Century. We are the generation that has been tasked with fighting the insanity of central control that is now at our doorstep. We are responsible for keeping American liberty alive for future generations and we will over come the creeping tyranny of the warm hug of fascism by the Great State. We are the happy warriors!

@Doug Wakeman. “How o you catch wild pigs”? Feed them, make them feel comfortable, and gradually build a fence around them. So appropriate here.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Thanks Claudia. This is an excellent and fitting compilation. The poor little elephant looks so sad.
The elephant, symbol of the Republican Party – the party of Lincoln, who freed the slaves. Oh, the irony.

Thank you Claudia. Devastation and rage have contributed to a knot in my throat that has not subsided in the last five days.
Today Pamela Geller, our warrior Goddess nailed it with this one:
“Watch the world spin out of control under a weak and feckless American president. These next four years will be the hardest of your life.”

After the rage subsides, my goal is to take the long view — to keep Western Civilization alive and lit thru the coming Dark Age.
This Dark Age may be Socialism, may be creeping Sharia Law — just don’t know. It may take the rest of my life, but keep the lamp of learning and liberty lit — like the monks did. We will eventually outlive and outlast the barbarians.
