The second term game of Obama cabinet musical chairs kicked into high gear Thursday when Attorney General Eric Holdersuggested that he might leave soon. He would join Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Treasury Secretary Tim Geither and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood on the exit list.

Names immediately surfaced of those who might replace Holder including Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, who has steered her department through controversial issues and come out generally unscathed.

Senate sources said that she would be a good pick for Obama since she has years of experience in the area and is generally well regarded in Congress.

According to a post-election report from the international law firm SNR Denton, other potential attorney general candidates include Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, and Sens. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.

    Hmmm, I wonder if Obama will take any heat for replacing a black man with a white man?

    No, not incompetent or corrupt enough.

    I nominate Jesse Jackson, Jr.

    He has all the right qualities required in an Obama Attorney General. A retard, an affirmative action unqualified griffer, a corrupt bribe waving Chicago pol and he’s so dreamy.

    And just think of the time and money that can be saved for taxpayers when Triple J negotiates the terms of his arrest with himself. Why, we taxpayers won’t have to pay the burden of locking him up or collecting any fines from him.

    For reasons I can’t even fathom, your headline brings to mind the line from movie ”
    Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me”

    “Oh My God! Fat bastard left a floater! In the name of all things sacred that is the most foul-smelling thing ever!”

    @Chief – “….Napolitano, Kagan, Sotomayor…”

    Forget the level of incompetence in that group, that’s just a bad visual.

    Lisa Madigan on the list? She is the evil spawn of the guy who really runs Springfield and Illinois — not Quinn, not Emanuel — Michael Madigan. What could be better addition to the administration that is going to bankrupt the country than the attorney general from the most bankrupt state in the country — home of Bronco Bama.

    And with Susan Rice being considered as SecState, that leaves John F’n Kerry (D. Viet) without a job….or does it?

    I’m betting burgers that Joe Biden announces his retirement shortly after the second immaculation, and that Kerry is tapped to be the next VP.

    Obama couldn’t drop Biden for Kerry and win reelection, but if Joe steps down does anyone doubt that Harry Reid’s Senate would refuse to confirm Kerry??

    Bet me.

    They do need a muslim in DHS to protect their people. Nappy is an ignorant dyke that would be easy to take apart in a court room. But we damned sure don’t need holder in the supremes.
