I afraid I have to agree with TC on this one.

The Dimocrats are terrible at running government but they are great at passing the blame (with the help of the MSM). When their policies eventually fail they will blame the stubborn Republicans in the House for blocking their heroic effort to save the nation. Its all lies and even most of them won’t beleive it, but that doesn’t matter. They will need to blame someone and House Republicans will be their one target. Their setting the House Repubs up now to take the fall and lose control of the House in 2014.

Give them everything they want, let them try to explain to the American people why there is hyper-inflation, companies folding left and right, high levels of unemployment and the added burden of the so called Affordable Care Act.

Unfortunately, those of us that know better and beleived we might have saved this nation for future generations will have to watch them crash the nation on the carrier deck. But I don’t see any other path for us given the preference of our fellow Americans, Greece sooner or Greece later. The people in charge are in capable of any other future.

Dr. Tar, I agree with you but if I were the Republicans, I would just vote “Present”, just like Barry did most of his career.

This way the Democrats get what they want and they can’t stick 1/2 the blame on the Republicans for voting “yes” when things hit the fan. They also can’t trot out the party of “No” schtick and the blame them when things hit the fan.

I know that will never come to fruition and I hope the path to “Greece” comes as slowly as possible so I can prepare myself as best as possible to protect my family from the aftermath.

The bigger tent is needed for Conservatives and all of the middle of road typical Repib voters who failed to turn out because they think the Repubs are just as bad as the Dems, so what’s the point in voting?

Obama got 10 million fewer votes in 2012 than he got in 2008. This election should have been a cakewalk for the Repubs. But Romey got 3 million FEWER votes than the absolutely awful candidate McCain got in 2008.

In the years between 2008 and 2012, the Repub’s failed to go after and motivate their core base, which was fed up with Bush and the first 4 years of the Obama regime, and the Repubs failure to stand up and fight against these radical changes.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that prior to the election, had Boehner gone out and stated for the record that the House would never fund ObummerCare on his watch, the Repub base would have been more motivated and turned out in greater numbers for Romney.

We lost this election because the RINO’s like Condi failed in their roles as leaders of the Repub Party. Conservatives can’t wait for the RINO’s to make a bigger tent. Conservatives have to take over from RINO’s and build that bigger tent.
