He warned the employees that this would be the case. He is the tip of the spear. “There is a tsunami coming.”

Does anybody know the directions to Galt’s Gulch? I think we need to find an oil rig in international waters and go sovereign.
I wonder how many of those 22 voted for Obama?
What will the moochers lose? Obama will give them a phone, an apartment, wellfare called UE Comp, food stamps and “free” health care.
Check out what Boeing announced today. Lockheed, General Dynamics, Northrup Grumman, Raytheon, General Automics, etc, will all follow suit. This is going to be fun to watch. And it’s the tip of the ice berg when the vendors start cutting loose.
now we fight
I am guessing all 44 of the 22 did
This is exactly what Obozo wants to happen-it’s the “way station” to “total” government control of healthcare. Obozocare was designed just for this result.
I’m waiting for Obama to make it illegal to fire people.
Kroger announced last week that because of the Obamacare provisions they were going to cut hours so that they wouldn’t have to subject to the costs of Obamacare.
Couple all of this kind of thing with what’s about to hit the economy and it spells DEPRESSION.
“In a related item, John Boehner announced that he would support Harry Reid’s proposed ‘Anti-Dog Eat Dog’ legislation making it a felony to violate the principal of an honest week’s wages for an honest day’s work.”
And the death spiral begins. The next shoe to drop: hyper-inflation.
Of course, the Offical Press will never chalk up the forthcoming job cuts to economic realities. They’ll say it’s due to 1%-er vindictiveness and hatred of Dear Leader.
This is just like a bookie who congratulates his degenerate gambler…”HEY! YOUR TEAM WON, GREAT…NOW PAY ME”.
Hopefully he went to the employee parking lot and picked out the idiots with obama/biden stickers on the bumpers and fired those assholes.
Ixnay on the ipstay for Zero.
Oh! Atlas IS shrugging? Well, well, well…

Think of this as a “V” with the first layoffs at the base. When those businesses that are the first to layoff workers no longer need to buy more items from suppliers, the suppliers will layoff workers. Then those businesses that are supported by the suppliers will layoff workers because the suppliers are no longer spending the same amount of money as before. And it keeps growing larger. Trickle-up socialist economic depression.
But here’s what I’m laughing at. Eventually, people will have to sacrifice and many will cut unnessary things like cable or satellite TV. As fewer people watch TV it means less people watching the evening news. Towards the end of this, you will see TV news departments laying off workers. So the election day giddiness of the libtard enemedia will end up being mental depression and frustration in the unemployment line. They voted against their own best interests and don’t even know it. Yet.
We’ve seen this movie – it’s called Weimar in German, Zimbabwe in Zimbabwean, Mengistu’s Ethiopia in Ethiopian, Cuba in Cuban, North Korea in Korean, Fascism in Italian, &c., &c., &c.
Where would you put your life savings right now? I’m thinking land may be good. Possibly a vacation property, like lake frontage or similar. Any other real assets that will always have value? Still gold?
the feel good Obamatard story of the day.
A co-worker just told me that our firm (2000 employees) is considering dropping our health insurance benefits because paying the ObamaCare fine is cheaper.
@Mr. Gates, gold and silver…physical, not certificates.
Real estate ain’t good. Just my 2¢.
FreeMan & Sarah Screwed Again
I really hate being right all the time.
@Mr. Gates & Norman einstein;
If useable hard metal is your goal, forget gold. A handy cash-in chunk of gold (say $50) is about the size of an eyelash, and way to easy to lose. An ounce(@~$1700)is about quarter sized.
Private land, under socalism, is taxed out of range if it isn’t used “for the people”.
Silver is a good choice, it’s not too big to handle, still comes in coin sizes, and is easy to verify.
Love seeing the left half of the country dancing and celebrating the Preezy’s reelection.
Reminiscent of Aesop’s fable about the ant and the grasshopper.
Obama’s unconstrained EPA will declare your water front property a wetland, and require you, at your expense, to return it to its historical natural state, including the removal of any man made structures.
Precious metals: Copper, lead and brass.
Last weekend my ex told me that FedEx will be downsizing (in this ROARING economy?) but most people leaving would be “volunteers.” She got pissed when I started laughing at the “volunteer” part.
Maybe America actually needs hyperinflation and debt default. It may be the only way to wake these economic dullards up and make them realize that folks need to be self-sufficient and not expect handouts.
And a debt default would mean it would be insane to buy US Treasury bonds. This country would be forced to go Cold Turkey and live within its means.
@eric, gates and Norman
Are you guys kidding me? They will take everything, and a pocket full of your precious “silver or gold” won’t mean shit. Get yourselves a flint, a good buck knife, some sturdy boots, and a strong will to fight and survive cause you ain’t seen NOTHIN’ yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess if you want to invest in precious metal, plenty of lead alloy, hollow point and semi-jacketed might be the way to go!
