DC

President Barack Obama’s 10:35 p.m. thank-you e-mail to his supporters included a fund-raising solicitation.

“I’m about to go speak to the crowd here in Chicago, but I wanted to thank you first… Today is the clearest proof yet that, against the odds, ordinary Americans can overcome powerful interests,” read the statement.

Just after his signature, comes one additional paragraph.

“Because you’ve saved your payment information, your donation will go through immediately:

“QUICK DONATE: $3 // $35 // $50 // $100 // $250 // Or donate another amount.”

The looting begins: Van Jones says America is being robbed thanks to folks not having more of their private property confiscated by the state.

Be sure to “sign” his petition and make use of the handy comments section.

The next time he ask for cash it will be with an IRS agent’s rifle pointed in your direction. And no Thank You for the voluntary contribution.
