increasing the debt load
finding another fantasy industry to blow billions on.

@Xavier: Just venting.. I too live in a crappy state. I have family in Illinois, California, and Wisconsin. Each person in each state claims, “it’s better here, come live here.” It’s all cesspool where all of my people are. We all need to GTFO so at least our votes will align with our beliefs.

Fuck it all, going as Galt as I can. I’ll cut out all expenditures except that which is necessary for me to live.

I’ll buy everything second-hand or trade for what I need as far as clothing. Booze, done buying, I’ll make my own. Gas, I live 4 miles from work, I can walk. My one luxury will be internet. Canceling phone and cable. Everything else I don’t need to live stops. Bread and water for the next 4 years.

I am going to call these offices every single week with questions of the most uncomfortable kind. They want to hold office and pretend that representative government is a noble thing.
