Ef Chris Christie – He’s Dead To Me

Home - by - November 5, 2012 - 23:02 America/New_York - 50 Comments

The Fat Phuck is done. He is Charlie Crist and Arlen Specter rolled into one fat slob.

Huff Po-

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was effusive in his praise of President Barack Obama when the two leaders toured damage from Hurricane Sandy last week, turned down a request by Mitt Romney to appear with him at a rally on Sunday night in Pennsylvania, The Huffington Post has learned.

Christie’s decision will only add to questions among Republicans about what the governor — who is up for reelection a year from now — is thinking, and why he went out of his way to heap praise on the president, and then refused to appear with Romney.

The Romney rally was held at a farm in Morrisville, Pa., not more than 20 minutes from Trenton, the New Jersey capital. The physical proximity of the event to New Jersey only added to questions in the Romney campaign about why Christie chose not to come.

AND, his RNC speech sucked.

Hmm. I don’t know if I trust the credibility of Huffpo. The unnamed source guy sure gets around these days. This sounds like Huffpo trying to wring every last drop out of the overblown Christie-loves-obama story; another shiny thing to cast a bad light on Republicans (RINO or otherwise) in the final hours of the campaign. Cripes, we’ve had D’s masquerading as R’s in CA, R’s calling themselves I’s and joining themselves to D’s, stories about Christians being told to vote for Jesus and the lawsuits are about ready to fly over vote fraud.

This story sounds odd to me.

Oh, but Christie can be RINO if he’s working on a 2016 run for the prize. If Romney loses (God forbid) then count on him spending the next four years campaigning for the job. Biden won’t run for the big seat and with the exception of Clinton (who’ll be too old) what other Dem has recognition.

Objectivity is a pain in the butt, but another thing to consider is Christie, I think, was one of the vocal about obama jumping on a plane to go campaign the morning after learning about Benghazi. The last thing he needs is to be called out for doing the same thing while NJ’s people are in dire straights. Just a thought.

The story sounds odd to me, too. There’s absolutely no political advantage or capital for the Romney campaign to have the NJ governor appear in PA. PA voters couldn’t care less about the governor of NJ and I’m sure staunch Republicans would rather not see Christie in person after seeing him bromancing Obama with his bedroom eyes. YUCK!

Hey CC — Yeah, that sounds about right. Christie may be a lot of things, but I just don’t see him and Romney (and it would have been Romney, not a staffer)being at odds over something like this. The unnamed Romney campaigner is probably a Huffpo writer who got a bonus for thinking this up.

I could be all wet about this — haven’t done any checking — but those poor delusional bastards on the left are going for broke right now. They know that Christie appeals to a lot of people from right to left of center and it doesn’t surprise me at all that they would try to co-opt his popularity to try to swing a few dummies back over to the D column. The Left: no wonder people are so confused all the time. In the presence of their logic you end up taking your shoes off in order to count to 20.

And just one last word: I live in an indigo blue sate and in a bluer-than-blue city that has been run into the dirt by a roving band of creeps who brought us bicycle lanes, plastic bag bans, a tunnel that is being dug over a major earthquake fault line next to a seawall on Elliott Bay and public art that rivals Piss Christ. We’ve got a guy, Rob McKenna, who is as smart as a whip, running as a Republican for governor this year. Thing is, you almost can’t tell the difference between him and the last several D governors on a lot of his planks. But just like NJ under Corzine, when you get a shot to stem the bleeding, you take it. It’s a whole lot easier to change the party from within it than not — that should sound familiar because it’s a major talking point in the Romney campaign. Anyone who doesn’t live on the Left coast will have a hard time imagining just how sewn up these once-prosperous states were when we were red or at least purple. So I’m not as critical of Christie on a lot of his record so far. I probably wouldn’t want him near the WH any more than I’d want McKenna there, though.

/slightly off topic – Obama’s Propaganda Minister Cutter Lulls Democrat Sheep

Cutter: “Remain calm, and don’t let tomorrow’s early tallies get you down”

The reason Clueless Cutter is counseling caution to her commie cohort is because she knows that responsible Americans (Republicans) will wake up early because they are either getting ready to go to work OR they are getting up early to go out looking for work – and on the way they will stop back by their polling place and vote. This will give Republicans an early lead.

Then about mid-day, the non-working, I’m on Gummint disability man, tie-dye tshirt, smelly Birkenstock sandal, longhaired filthy hippy crowd will wake up from their booze binge and/or drug hallucinations from the night before and they will go to their polling places (via the free county shuttle bus service). Same for the illegal alien immigrants, the Gummint workers that called in sick and the NEA public schoolteachers that also called in sick. Dead voters will vote Democrat in heavy numbers. Poll workers will know when the Democrat voters have arrived by the eye-watering stench. Our Kenyan Communist Muslim-In-Chief will begin to surge in the poll numbers.

But when the working Americans and job-seeking Americans go home that afternoon, those who haven’t voted yet will stop back by their polling palces and cast their votes for Romney. Gov Romney’s poll numbers will explode. Mainstream Media talking heads will gnash their teeth, tear their hair and rend their clothes. They will engage in projection and acccuse Republicans of massive voter fraud and racism.

By 9pm Pacific it will be a done deal and the American people will have fired Obama’s a$$. President-Elect Romney will give a very classy speech that unifies the country in optimism. The narcissistic, nasty, vicious, pouting, petulant buffoon Obama will refuse to concede and instead urge armed revolution, forgetting that Democrats dont own guns and Republicans believe strongly in the 2nd Amendment. On Inauguration Day in January, President Romney will have to file suit in DC Court to have the District Of Columbia Sheriff’s Office forcibly EVICT the Obama Family from OUR White House.

Christie’s flaw was that he fell for it.

I spent much of my working life around and watching politicans. VERY few in my experience are or were interested in much beyond themselves and their next advantage. Those who intially were often succumbed to the soft blandishments of fawners and the pleasures of real or imagined power over others. That process seldom takes long, especially with lawyers. Romney appears to be an exception. Let’s hope he is and that he gets an eight year chance to show it.

The use of the term “public servant” to describe most politicians is insanely ridiculous. Christie is just a politican and a very obese one. In my experience, many if not most obese people I have known are simply gluttons. Everything around them is all about themelves and their immediate need for gratification. Combine the two in your mind and ask what else you could have expected of Christie. Christie also not only has shown antipathy to gun owners, but also an affinity for big government, despite his loud shots against the easy targets – greedy public sector union members and the corrupt educational system. I think he’s playing for the ’16 nomination and betting that Romney loses.

I’m not disrespecting anyone’s opinion of Christie but I live in the state that was more devastated by Sandy than the other one’s. If Christie kissed Obama’s ass he did it for the people who were devastated by Sandy. As for not going to a Romney rally, would he be criticized if he left this disaster for political reasons? Damn if he did and damn if he didn’t. He is a hell of a lot better than Corzine. Just as I wanted Newt to be the Republican candidate to take out Obama I have to settle for Romney to do it. With the exception of the unions most of us like him for what he’s done so far.
