The Wisdom of Joey Biden
Vice President Biden said that if President Obama is re-elected, the Republican “fever” will break and some level of bipartisanship would return to Washington.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on Sunday, Biden said he’s already been talking with a dozen GOP senators and more than two-dozen House members who have indicated they’d be more open to compromise after the election.
“I think you’re going to see the fever break,” Biden said in the interview. “I think you’re going to see Obama’s re-elected, the idea ‘we can’t let that happen’ is done, and now it’s going to be ok.”
No, stupid. Things will be worse. There will be civil war.
This asinine assessment of Biden’s is a transparent attempt to persuade centrist independents that voting for Obama will “make things happen.”
Bullshit. Any senator or congressman that “works” with the left to forward the left’s agenda is politically dead. If Obama wins I will be even more active in trying to cripple the left.

Thanks Fur. That’s exactly what I was thinking when I started reading this post.

Can anyone give me an example where ‘reaching across the political aisle’ has worked out well for the Republican side?
I can’t recall any instances after 1980, and maybe not even before then.

Fucking idiot Biden, if he actually had these conversations (which I doubt because he hasn’t been in DC in months) these senators were saying, “sure Joey, after the election (when Romney wins) we will be open to the left compromising with us.”

SOMEBODY has got to defend the Constitution. This isn’t a joke, this isn’t about Republican/Democrat anymore….

For Republicans to ‘reach’ across the isle simply means for Republicans to ‘cave’ to the dipshits that want to destroy this country.
We all know what liberalism means and how detrimental it is to the country, now it’s time to show those bastards the higher benefits of conservatism.

I don’t see the Republican “fever” breaking anytime soon. Additionally, I got a fever for more cowbell.

Joey’s comments are part of a false narrative that the Oblowme campign and their sycophant media knobslobbers are attempting to portray – that is, that the re-election is in the bag and we’re now looking “forward” to getting down to serious business with the repubs.
The problem is that it is a false narrative, completely detached from reality and part of the delusional world of a narcissistic child-king.

Oblowme is a study in self-assurance?? Only to those who want it to be so.

What Aneurysms Joe really meant was the commies will give any traitorous RINO that accedes to their demands a reach around.
A door prize for breaking ranks and surrendering America.

What pisses me off is that certain Irish think he’s a staunch Irish Catholic because he married a Finnigan. But he supports Gay marriage ,Abortion, and disagrees with the teachings of the church, thinks he’s smarter than the Pope, and still makes an ass of himself. He’s a Finnigan alright. Let’s have a wakefor this asshole.

If we have to reach across the isle it should only be to hand the prisoners a ragged blanket and a tin cup. And then only once. They are traitors and should be treated as such.

I’m on board. If they thought the Tea Party was a nuisance before… Look out!
But I feel pretty optimistic. If Romney wins, the economy will begin to improve the very next day, and it will be the best Christmas the stores have seen in years. Just watch.

When Romney wins, a hell of a lot of people will be able to leave jobs they are over-qualified for and return to the line of work they have trained for, their chosen careers. Companies can expand and start hiring again. The unemployed will have job prospects. I believe the Man will get America working again; In fact, I’m counting on it.
