Judgment Day
Charles Payne
There’s been an ominous aura in this country for some time, which makes hurricane Sandy even more eerie. I’ve called this the dropout nation. Sadly, rarely does a week go by without there being more evidence of people throwing in the towel. From the plunge in marriage to an insane willingness to rent in places where it’s prohibitively more expensive than owning, Americans have more or less said live for the moment because it will not be better tomorrow. Perhaps no data stream illustrates the dropout nation more than income, spending, and savings reports.
I was dreamin’ when I wrote this
Forgive me if it goes astray
But when I woke up this mornin’
Could of sworn it was judgment day
The sky was all purple
There were people runnin’ everywhere
Tryin’ to run from the destruction
You know I didn’t even care
“1999”
¬¬¬-Prince
Prince sang “1999” about people mostly living in the moment, saying “party over, oops, out of time” as an anthem for all the anxiety that surrounded the new millennium. The notion was that the year 2000 would usher in “judgment day” or a wave of disasters, so people should just party hard in the meantime.
I’ve said for a long time we have become a dropout nation, and part of that is just the idea of spending money, eschewing investing, and living in the moment.
This morning personal spending and income for September was released, with the former beating the street while the latter was only “in-line.” The reality is incomes have lagged not only inflation, but in actual terms too. People are making more than $4,000 less than they were a few years ago. The data seems to suggest they have decided to forget about tomorrow. Prince worried about wars and bombs, but these days it’s about fiscal cliffs and exploding debt. Yet this trend goes beyond the latest hi-jinks in Washington.

But the people love 0bama so much he’s in a dead heat, 48% to 48%, with Romney!
Yeah, right.
Socialists like 0bama have no idea the damage caused by inflation. Printing more federal reserve paper does not make more money; it just makes more inflation. It reminds me of the scene in Evita were Madonna as Evita Peron throws Argentine paper Pesos from the train for all the little people. As if it did them any good.

The foreplay for the train wreck has been going on too long. Some got blisters, I already got a callus.
Defaecate or evacuate. Something has to shift.

“Twas the night before election and all through The White House
not a creature was sturring ‘cept Obamas big mouth
He blamed Bush for the disaster he could not restore
His shovel ready fixing only made it much more
American exceptionalism we cannot restore
For further funding I’ll call on Al Gore
Cuurent TV is in such demise
You need Hilary Clinton whom I also despise.
So he called on Pelosi and Harry Reid
“I know we’re all dirty” I’ll call Sandra Fluke I know she’s flirty”
But she cam’t draw crowds and neither can I
I know I’m done and America has won.

He’s right; massive capitulation and hopelessness.
The socialist parasites that pay no taxes yet have the same vote as we, now outnumber the savers and producers. The producers are made politically inert.
The nation has tipped over into Socialism. The debt-burden collapse, its subsequent misery and chaos, will result in a hard tyranny.
We have a fleeting chance to reverse it with Romney-Ryan. It will all be decided tomorrow.
God save us.

One of our local radio hosts, Bill Handel, was discussing how he intended to vote on California’s propositions. Basically, if a proposition called for, or was likely to lead to more wasteful spending, he was for it – conversely, if a proposition purported to save money, he was against it. It did not matter what it was – Handel’s focus was only on wasting as much money as possible.
Handel is sarcastic, and his point was that if California is heading for a fiscal cliff, let’s speed up the train. Unfortunately, there was more truth in his “let’s drive to the cliff faster” analysis than humor.

Gonna be real HARD to stomach a Romney loss. Troubling and scary… if it plays out that way then we shall see the demiss of this once great country. May have to entertain an American Jihad of sorts….

well, on this eve of what i believe is the most important election in my 62 years, i just realized that i have not even prepared myself for the notion that Romney might not prevail…gotta keep the faith that God has not brought us/America this far, just to forsake us now…but it’s not “just an election”…this is a fight for our life, for our existence, for the America we grew up in, and so many have sacrificed so much to preserve…not be pissed-away by some f’king deceitful muslim fraud of an ashhole and his sheeple…praying a lot tonite, for Romney and Ryan and their families, and thanking God that we still have a chance to save our America
