I’ve said for years that 0′s racism is largely his own self-loathing and twisted “white guilt” for being born and raised as a white kid with dark skin. Just returned from a local mega sporting store to replenish supplies. Spoke with a delightful Grandma about how awful this situation was and what a perfect snapshot of why government cannot and will not save you, particularly in places with onerous anti 2nd amendment laws.

I read earlier today that the Mayor in Coney Island wanted National Guard troops on the streets to thwart looters as the citizens in the bad areas are arming themselves with whatever to defend themselves.

Mayor No Salt 16oz Doomberg said no to the request as he only wants NYPD to have guns in the area. The police resources are already stretched thin but Doomberg said the police could protect the bad areas!

Perhaps more than anything that has happened in the last few years, this disaster shows clearly – government – the state – cannot provide. It can only take. Even when it takes tax dollars from the citizen, it does/can not return them when they are merited. Perhaps FEMA and this administration is helpless because they truly have no money to function is this scenario. Not running up trillion dollar debts IS a moral imperative – the Sandy disaster shows why. Vote for love of country Tuesday.

Reminds me to make sure I buy a new set of dies for reloading and ensure my supplies are upped significantly.

Someone should bring in a big screen tv with a generator and show these people the star-studded gala with all of the food and trimmings as a reminder as to how little the prez, holywood, and musicians care.

This really doesn’t surprise me, everyone. I lived in Rhode Island during the floods of 2010 and was in charge of business recovery efforts for a small, rural town south of Providence. I dealt with unions and the most ‘smuggie’ of the libtards, and even though Janet Napolitano told a group “We are here to help you and give you the resources you need to get back up and running,” businesses today are still down. FEMA failed them and this Administration failed them. However, they will STILL VOTE for this Administration. Jersey and New York will follow suit; they are so beholden to Democrats that they fail to realize the very political party they put on a golden pedestal is the very party who brutalizes them at every opportunity.

Many of these areas (like those pictured above) will remain that way because FEMA is not present to rebuild people’s homes and businesses. That is what INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE is for. FEMA is present to rebuild critical infrastructure, ensure proper emergency response, and provide continuity of government resources. I see a lot of people commenting, and I agree with them, that hopefully this situation will help these idiots wake up. However, it has been my sad experience that even the worst of these storms and lying of politicians can’t even wake up the most entrenched of Democrats.

This nation’s only hope is a Romney/Ryan victory.
