Obama’s grade point average at Columbia
The shroud over President Barack Obama’s college records — recently spotlighted by Donald Trump’s $5 million challenge — is prompting Americans to share what they’ve got, and The Daily Caller is getting its share of leads, including one story that the president scored a GPA of only 2.6 at Columbia University.
The 2.6 grade can’t be confirmed, is contradicted by some evidence, and it doesn’t say anything about the courses
, professors and associations Obama was immersed in during his two-year stay in Columbia.
But the source is credible, and he’s contributing to the collective effort by Americans to find out more about their president — who is a champion of a greater role for himself and other government officials in Americans’ personal lives, social norms and career opportunities.

I think a 2.6, in a course of study that’s dumbed down more than any other, this side of the Education College, is a reasonable guess.

Yes PoliSci is still a wasteland of socialism and any degree in it isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Unfortunately, we have no idea what specific classes 0bama attended. He may have showed up for all of the easy classes and blew off the classes that were necessary for the degree.
When my brother attended UNC Chapel Hill, he had to take some electives for his law degree. So he took geology. His friends laughed and said, “You’re taking Rocks for Jocks?” His first day in the class told him how true rocks-for-jocks was. I don’t know how much of a joke this is but my brother said that the instructor would hold up a rock and say, “This is a rock.” Then he would put it down, pick it up and ask, “What’s this?” “A rock.” “Very good.”
The classes were designed to give athletes a 3.5 GPA or better. And 0bama got a 2.6 GPA. Now tell me how “intelligent” he is and how truly scared you really are.
