Neat shotgun but they are insanely expensive. Around $2400 if I recall. I’ve got a Saiga 12GA with a 20 Rd drum, tactical rail and 6 position stock all for about 1/3 of the 1216. Far better set up for the money in my opinion.

So, Big Fur, is that to say you don’t have any gun at all? If so, what is holding you back? They are the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

I like the idea about different loads in each tube.
But I’d be afraid of picking the wrong tube and sending a slug to target where a bean bag should have went. lethal and non-lethal just don’t mix.

Mine is just a simple camo Mossberg, 5 shots, always works, and that pupmping sound in the dark is usually all that is needed.. My 22 holds about 20 shots. My fav is my pump action 30-06!

I prefer my M1 Super 90 which my eldest almost got a face full of a couple weeks ago.
He was up, ate breakfast then fell back asleep in his room. Figured he left, got the little one out the door and started working.
Footsteps upstairs? He said; ‘dad’ with about seconds to spare.

i thought about inventing a door bell that instead was the sound of pump action on a shotgun.

@hanoverfist – 1100 will do anything you need done! So will the 870. Also a Model 12, or 1200, or 1300…. or even a good old Model 37 Steelbilt. God I love shotguns. Really. Love. Shotguns.

BTW, I love Gun Porn, even with the ‘occasional hiccups with it when chambering rounds’.

The only problem with that “occasional hiccup” is it can get you killed.

@Menderman — The best thing for crowd control is the sound of a pump-action shotgun chambering a round. Great for home defense, too. I’m not sure if there is a sentient being on this planet that doesn’t know and respect that distinctive sound. Humans may be born with it, like fear of fire.

Looked to me like it wasn’t quite so semi-automatic on not just one of those cylinders (in his last shooting demo) but two.

870′s. Don’t by a new one. They don’t cycle. Something to do with China I believe. If you have an old one, don’t get rid of it.

Rando, Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t they use to sell those at Montgomery Wards. I believe that is true. Damn, the good old days. We got to get the hell outa here Bro. If I remember right, Stevens was a pre cursor to Savage. What ever you do don’t get shed a that thing. And what ever you do, vote and drive North. No Joke. Shit’s common, your in a indefensible spot. Sorry bro, bad day, to much Jack, Good night.

Brad -Savage and Stevens were allied, and in the good ol’ days you could buy them at Sears, Monkey Wards and even at some hardware stores. Marlins were sold under the Glenfield name. Sears also sold Win 94′s under the (I believe) JC Higgins brand. When I was about 14 I wanted one of those Win. 30-30′s so bad I could taste it. Dad finally got sick of hearing about it and bought me a single shot Ithaca lever action .22 My Single-Six came from Wards in 1969, it cost $69.00!
