Probably one of the few places in DC where Honor still has value.
They will do their duty for the duration of the storm.
How is it possible to look at the photo and not feel a lump or a tear.

THAT makes me proud to be an American. Fine young men serving their country, quite the contrast to “community organizing”.

Great Photo. They are dedicated men. There’s a

24-7-365 standing in honor. Not just guarding the tomb, but standing in honor of all those who stood up before them, and all those who will stand up after they have gone … standing in Honor of others.

Yesterday – one of the poll questions asked what (if a woman) you found attractive in a man.
This would be it – times 100.
Saying a quick prayer for these gallant young soldiers. May we give them a fitting CIC soon.

It’s interesting, well, sort of, don’t you think?
The slimy Democrats and their slimy shills in the
MSM portrayed George W. Bush as a useless fool,
whose only claim to famme was that he came from a
wealthy family, and they portrayed Barack H. Obama as a man of the people … when, in fact, George W. Bush was an honorable, humble man of the people who provided great leadership through three wars and who got a lot accomplished, while Obama turned out to be a useless empty suit, a slippery street hustler and a lazy and pretentious, decadent dilletante, who was been systematically, [deliberately], viciously, [spitefully], trecherously and [vindictively] undoing everything that G.W.Bush accomplished, and who wants to be reelected for no other reason than so that he can continue to live like royalty without doing a damned thing to earn it.
You miss Ronald Reagan? I miss George W. Bush. He and Laura were a class act, unlike the trash that Democrats have put into the White House.

The photo reminds me when I saw the changing of the guard last year for the first time. Still gives me goosebumps thinking about. God bless our men and women in the military.

Takes a special kind of soldier to do that. Clearly they honor their obligation to the United States and our fallen. If only we had a president that did the same.

“Here Rests In Honored Glory An American Soldier Know But To God”
…reads the inscription on the Tomb of the Unknowns
My son did a 3-year stint in the 3rd. Got to see him perform some Honor details. These are the same guys (no girls; they are an Infantry regiment)that plant the flags on the graves every Memorial Day.

Hate to say this, but with the rash of bogus pictures being released… I feel this one is a fake based on look at the shadows on the ground in the picture. The light cannot come from 3 directions at once.

That reminds me of the two marines going to protect Chris Stevens , Obama has told people to evacuate because of the hurricane , Yet he’s left these 3 marines out in the cold , Bengazi all over.

I am not bragging, but I spent my time in hell.I respect our great country without regret.I did not always agree, but when duty calls, a Marine never refusses to serve. It is just so sad we have a CIC that knows nothing about the services,or for that matter the USA.He never had a job or fullfilled any military duties and never refers to God.100 rounds of golf later wants to try to ack like a leader and ask for 4 more years of golf and destroying the country.God bless our troups and our true patriots of the USA
