that’s how amazing and transcendent the human soul is.
that’s how trials and obstacles and walls make us use our gifts and excel.

Very choked up right now. In a happy way. Very inspirational and poignant story of the human spirit and family! A welcome break from all the crap that’s going on in the world today. Peace.

unfortunately there’s no place for a kid like this in Obama’s world.
A few years ago, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition built a new house for the family, to make it easier for Patrick to get around, and also, since he is older, to have more independence (I believe the house was built with special living quarters for him–his own kitchen and such). You have never seen anybody so grateful and gracious. It was one of my favorite episodes of that show.
I hate that the current political climate makes me view everything through a political prism, but I weep at the thought that a liberal would have aborted this wonderfully talented young man had they known in advance of his disabilities. And, I’d like to shake that father’s hand, and if I could, I would pay a house note or two for him.

Compare this post to the post underneath it.
This one features a story of holy righteousness.
The one underneath features a woman who symbolizes degenerate filth.

Beautiful story. Hate to make stories like this “political”, but, liberals would have aborted him. They would even think of aborting him now…….
