Best episode of the Outer limits, actually they were all great. William Shatner’s first TV appearance I believe. FURS version of the creature is much more frightening then the original. More teeth.

Guess I missed the episode where it showed a sasquatch on the wing.
She’d better get used to being ignored — that’s going to be her life after November 6th.

It was an episode of TWILIGHT ZONE.
Rod Serling was a genius.
An all time hero of mine.
Anyone interested in becominging a screenwriter is an abject fool if they don’t study the works of that man.
Yet that master of horror could not even fathom, in that vast reservoir of imagination, the terror that was to become barackamoochelle.
To serve man…indeed.

Brad,
It was Twilight Zone.
John Lithgow played the part in the Twilight Zone movie.
The had an inside joke about it when Shatner appeared as the big giant head on Third Rock from the Sun.
Just please, PLEASE, don’t show the footage of it beding over and farting out thatlast meal of ribs!!
That would be too “over the top” and would doubtless cause millions of heart attacks worldwide.

Thanks, Fur, for the memories. I had instant gut reaction when I saw the pix… never will forget how that scene in the original really scared me. There were a couple of Alfred Hitchcock’s that did that to me too. One was about a lady who fell in love with a puppeteer and come to find out the puppet was the real person. Scary stuff! Another was a man dressed up as a nurse killing people in an old mansion. I remember Dana Wynter starred in it. Thanks, again.

Actually I do recall seeing the original episode at the age of five. And when the Shat opened the window and saw the gremlin I jumped out of my seat. Then I cried out
“Mommy, I haven’t seen anything that scary since Fur did that photoshop of Nancy Pelosi.”

Excellent and the stuff nightmares are made of!
Much scarier than the original!
Norman, I tried to watch it again but couldn’t. Must be the combination of Bernard Herman’s music and the fear of when I first saw it. I too cannot look out a window at night. God help us all.
Anonymous, you were right about the Zone, I was right about Shatner. Check out Norms link.
Anyway you want to look at it, all these shows beat the heck out of the reality TV we are forced to watch today.
Shatner was actually pretty busy in the early 60s. He did a some Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits, some of the TV westerns, and was in 12 O’Clock High in 65. He got Star Trek the next year.
I remember this one. Scared the crap out of me. Lithgow did a good remake in the movie. And Mooshell does look like the gremlin.
