Gay Republican assaulted for political activism
This morning, Daily Caller was kind enough to publish an article I wrote about a vicious assault done to Kyle Wood, a gay volunteer for a Republican campaign in Wisconsin. Kyle ended up in the hospital:
Kyle Wood, a full-time volunteer working for GOP House candidate Chad Lee, was hospitalized for injuries suffered during what he said was an assault at his home.
Wood told The Daily Caller that vandalism preceding the assault, along with his attacker’s statements during the incident, suggested his sexual orientation and his politics each played a role.
“I was getting ready for work and there was a knock at the door,” Wood emailed The Daily Caller late Wednesday. “I opened it, and a guy wrapped a ligature around my neck, slammed my head into the doorway, and smashed my face into a mirror, telling me ‘You should have kept your [f*******] mouth shut.’”
“He then kidney-punched me, while at the same time saying I was ‘warned,’ and continued to beat me,” he added.
Wood said his attacker’s reference to a warning likely pointed to graffiti he found painted on his car last week. The vandalism included the phrases “house trained republican faggot,” “traitor,” and “ur like a jew 4 hitler.”

Went to absentee vote today in N. Virginia at the DMV. There was a democratic party table right next to the entrance and they were grabbing people to convince them to vote for obama. I went inside and the only sample ballot was democrat. I called the Republican party of Virginia and got caught in a loop of push 100 to leave a message and it went back to the answering massage. I hit 103 for the director and his box was full. Called the Prince William office and they said they know about it but don’t have anyone to help. I said isn’t this illegal to be right in front of the voting and they said we know about it but we don’t have time to focus on it.

See if you can get a photo of the Democrats electioneering right outside the door. That is illegal. They’re supposed to be 40 feet from the door. I suspect the local Romney office in Arlington would be interested in that. They have lots of lawyers volunteering to help ensure that election laws are followed.
Of course, I’m not surprised that liberals wouldn’t follow the law. I guess, like Jim Moran’s son, they think the law only applies to other people.

mkultra, I don’t thinks it’s B.S. The Gay Patriot had something on Big Blue the other day about another incident. You gotta love the compassionate left. I’m no Fag, but that Gay Patriot dude does write some good stuff. And he doesn’t parade around like a queen so he doesn’t bother me.
