13-Year-Old Jenny Gives Report Cards to Obama and Romney
Jenny is a 13-year-old 8th grader who’s been interested in politics for a couple of years. She was confused about the claims of the Democrats and the claims of the Republicans. So, she decided to look at the facts and do a report card for President Barack Obama and one for Governor Mitt Romney. She compared them and now presents her findings in this video.

At 13, this girl has more sense than at least half my ADULT friends and co-workers. I’d say she has my vote if she runs for office, but I have the feeling she’ll stick to the private sector, and will do well there.

I’m more impressed with the fact that she decided to look up the facts from sources OTHER THAN the MSM from which to draw her conclusions. Difficult for a public-school-educated kid to do that.
BUT…
There’s an element of phoniness here. For thirteen she sounds a little too much like a practiced actress, and the video production, camera shots, visuals all point to a professional production. I’m not against that; I’m against passing it off as an amateur production by a thirteen-year-old, no matter how much I may agree with the material. I’d expect to hear, “I’m Mitt Romney and I approve this message,” at the end.

I have not met the man, but I think I would vote for her Dad for President. It is obvious that her father talks to her about the real world, and she asks questions too. I do not think she is just parroting her fathers thoughts, and think she has thought on her own and made her own decessions. I have these talks with my daughter. I try to give both sides, so she can form her own opinion. Of course there is a little bias.
