True story. My little sister, Lisa, who was a big fan of “Hogan’s Heroes” was traveling Europe on a Eurailpass, and for some reason she muttered Schultz’s catchphrase — “I see nothing. I know nothing.”
So an elderly woman sitting opposite her exclaims, “Why did you say that?” And Lisa said, “Oh, it’s just a catchphrase from a show called Hogan He-” And the old woman says, “Yes I know, my name is Lotte Klemperer; my brother, Werner played Colonel Klink.”
So my sister channels Sgt Schultz on a train in Germany and ends up meeting KLink’s sister. What a small world

So y’all liked that story about my sister. Here’s an interesting tidbit that my sister learned. Werner’s family did not approve of his playing Col Klink, seeing as how the Klemperers are Jewish, and Hogan’s Heroes, of course, downplays the evil of the Nazis and turns them into lovable buffoons.
And when I heard that, I said “Wait a minute, Lisa, are you telling me Klink was fucking Jewish? Oh wow, that explains everything!”

According to Florida’s “Shark Tank” dws is only ahead of Karen Harrington by 4.5 pts and Harrington has out-raised shultz by 2:1 as of the end of September. This is great, big news for the GOP. Shultz almost shut out Harrington in 2010 by 22 pts!
