Newsweek Ceasing Publication – Over 200 Readers Affected
BIG HAIRY NEWS – Newsweek magazine announced today that it will cease publication at the end of the year.
The magazine, published since 1933, has experienced a sharp decline in readership – roughly proportionate to its increasingly hard left editorial bent. There is no word how this move will affect Newsweek’s roughly 225 subscribers.
One positive aspect of the move is that President Obama and first lady Michelle will now have more free time, thanks to not having to pose for monthly Newsweek cover story photos.

I always suspected that most of the magazines like Newsweek were free subscriptions to the waiting rooms.

Mitt Romney should have Bain Capital buy Newsweek, fire everyone, and turn it conservative. When the subscriptions and readership triple all other “news” mags combined, we can all have a good laugh.

Now, if we can can only get rid of Time Magazine, too, of whom it was said that Life Magazine was for people who can’t read, and Time Magazine was for people who can’t think.
But this is a good start. Good riddance to Newsweek.

Love it! Another leftwing rag in the dustbin. The best news I’ve heard in a while.
