In a story on the front page of the Washington Post about the controversies surrounding reclusive Illinois Democratic congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., readers have to wade through 23 paragraphs before they hit the story’s most interesting nugget of information:

The prince [Jackson] was erecting the foundations of a power base, diving into countless local races by endorsing candidates, seeding the region with mayors and other local officials who would be loyal supporters. But he could be mercurial, former associates say. Jackson sometimes boasted that he was a reincarnated Greek chariot driver, [political operative Frank] Coconate said. “I really thought he had a problem with reality,” Coconate said

If his family cared ONE BIT for this guy, they’d make him retire and put his ass into a clinic until they could sort all of his criminal and lawsuit messes out.
But they won’t. Both his parents are vicious, greedy, self absorbed rodents trying to keep up appearances.

No clinically disturbed person should have a say in politics, medicine or law enforcement and especially not in the military.

If the voters in his district reelect him next month, they out to be locked up in the same loony bin that he belongs in. Would any inteligent district of voters reelect someone with his track record?

That’s kinda funny … cause the Africans never discovered the wheel.

I guess that’s why he chose a Greek chariot.
