All the lefties are calling this a “scandal” because Dinesh isn’t divorced. He’s been separated for a long time, so what’s the problem?

    I don’t get the scandal.

    He can’t marry her (sign a new legal contract) until the previous marriage (old legal contract) is cancelled.

    Sometimes this legal process takes YEARS due to complications, greedy fukin lawyers or a vindictive spouse.

    ….so in the meantime he’s not allowed to talk with other women? Or date? Or fall in love?

    I think she should do something about those roots, though. If you aren’t willing to spend the money or take the effort to go completely opposite from your natural hair color, then don’t do it.

    It’s not the scandal of a married man having a girlfriend that pushes their button, it’s the religious hypocrisy angle that has them all howling like a pack of wolves: the (still married) president of a Christian college sharing a room with another woman at a Christian authors conference.

    Religious hypocrisy is juicy red meat to progtard. Anyting that allows them to bash Christianity is better than sex for them.

    With lefties, the scandal is when they’re found to be as greedy as the evil CEO’s they curse, with conservatives (religious ones, at least) the scandal is that they actually have sex, or have it with someone otherwise unauthorized. The other way ’round it doesn’t work: Who would be scandalized that a conservative Republican was rich and liked money; or likewise who would be scandalized that a leftie was also a pervert?

    Nothing wrong with Sally Field loving her son. It was her excusing his behavior that was the topic of the discussion.

    It is possible to love your child and not approve of his or her lifestyle. When the lifestyle is dangerous and/or destructive, then both the love AND the disapproval must be clear and unmistakable.

    Sorry, on this one I have to agree. The President of a Christian school must be an example to the students. Sure, he’s only human and sinful but it sounds like he’s digging himself into a hole with additional lying.

    “..example to students.” isn’t really strong enough. Teachers and leaders in the church have a special calling and duty to those they lead and I believe (not going to look it up right now) that scripture says something about their being held to a greater accountability because of the position of trust in which they are placed. Presidents of Christian schools (college level or otherwise) do not go to conferences with woman to whom they are not married and share a room with them whether “nothing happened” or did.
