Man accused of stealing from residents at assisted living facilities in Florida
WINTER PARK, Fla. -
Authorities have identified a man suspected of dressing as a female nurse and stealing from elderly residents at Central Florida assisted living facilities.
According to Winter Park police, Meko Jerran Hartfield, 29, is known to dress as a woman, wear medical scrub attire and wigs
Authorities said Hartfield wears the outfits to blend in with staff members and employees, but has not been identified as a health care worker at any of the facilities where a crime has occurred.
Investigators initially believed the suspect was a woman.
