Axelrod Absolutely Hammered On ‘Fox News Sunday’

Obama campaign senior adviser, David Axelrod engaged in a heated discussion with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday over the attack in Libya. During last week’s vice presidential debate, Vice President Joe Biden said that he and others in the White House were not told of requests for more security at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. However, the day before the debate, several State Department officials testified that there were repeated requests for more security that had been rejected.

Axelrod said Vice President Biden was only talking about what he and the president knew. He said there is no doubt that some of these requests went into the security agency at the State Department, but it didn’t reach the White House. Axelrod added that the president feels “personal responsibility for every representative he sends around the world.”

He continued, “It’s not a matter of blaming. That’s just the facts. Sometimes intelligence has to catch up with the reality on the ground.”

Obama deputy campaign manager, Stephanie Cutter said recently about the Libya attack that, “The entire reason that this has become the political topic it is, it’s because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.”

Axelrod responded that it’s essential to bring the terrorists to justice, but said it’s a separate matter that Romney has stirred up by denouncing the attacks immediately after it happened with only half the information. He said, “Chris Stevens’ dad said that he regretted that people were trying to exploit this issue. And I think we ought to follow the lead of the ambassador’s family and allow this investigation to run.”

Wallace interjected, “This is the first U.S. ambassador that has been killed since 1979. Susan Rice came on this show and five others, and gave the American people a story that turned out not to be true, and you’re saying that we shouldn’t discuss this?”

“Chris, calm down,” Axelrod said, “That’s obviously not what I’m saying.”

Axelrod’s even more arrogant than Obumfuk, if it’s possible.

When a lib uses the word, “obviously,” he really means “obfuscated… by us.”

With his mean, vicious, nasty, childish, psychotic, vile and despicable behavior last Thursday night,
Crazy Joe showed that he is the slimiest of slimy
low-lifes. He and Axelrod are [exactly] alike.

Yes, the “narrative” now has turned into “bring the perpetrators to justice.” Axelrod inserted that phrase everytime he wanted to deflect Wallace’s question, which was five times over the course of the interview. What I found so chilling was Axelrod’s composure in all of this. It was this tell that seems to give away the fact that his were prepared remarks. Dana Perino mentioned that none of Obama’s campaign staff have the clearances to speak about any of this and that’s their first mistake.

Since when is an advisor to the President allowed
to prescribe policies and to speak for the POTUS?
Gee, one might think that Obama is a puppet for a
Chicago mob, and that Axelrod is the real power.

Here’s the real question: what are they covering up?
Fact: they lied , they knew. Not incompetence, but complete deception. Carried out for
weeks and used in the UN speech.
They are not lying to protect Obamas failed policy. That’s too benign. There is something big, bad and dirty they are ineptly trying to hide. How big, how bad, how dirty? Hopefully somewhere there is an honest journalist that is brave enough to find out.

vagabond trader I wish that Mr Hat would put that up on IOTW. I read that yesterday and it got me to thinking about how two weeks ago the blind sheik was back in the news. were they putting out a trial baloon to test how we would respond if he was released. That may be why they don’t want to talk about Libya. Axhole has to be the king slime of all slime. And yes I think that this crowd woukd do something like that.

“Axelrod said Biden was only talking about what he and the President knew”. Well, if they had attended their daily Intel Brief they should have known about the security situation. Wallace should have hit that low-hanging curveball.

    @Geoff C. The Saltine:

It is definitely worthy of discussion. Also, recall them using the “video” as cause of these attacks. Questions on that too, who originally posited that little gem. Find out and shake them down, someone wants to avoid a prison sentence. I have little regard or confidence in our current leadership, scared and dumb is not what we need. Everything screams fustercluck coverup.
