    This should be required viewing by all college freshmen.

    I also find it quite interesting (read: illogical and hypocritical) that the people who are most vocal about the teachings of Jesus Christ and the moral imperative of those in a better position to be charitable are generally the same people who say that Jesus Christ is the fantasy son of a Spaghetti god in the sky.

    Dinesh rocks!

    I read this somewhere (I think) at NRO (paraphrasing):

    “The Democrats’ Party is the coalition of economic dependents and their “virtuous” caretakers. Big government is attractive not merely to those receiving benefits, but also to the idealists on the other end of the economic spectrum, for whom big government represents “Delegated Virtue”. It’s a way to fool yourself into thinking *you’re* taking care of the poor, the elderly, the disabled *without actually doing anything* yourself.

    Uncharitable, self-congratulatory Democrats have pulled off one of the greatest P.R. con jobs of all time: they’ve successfully sold to millions of Americans 1) the idea of “moral superiority without sacrifice” as a seductive lifestyle, and 2) the *false* notion that religious conservatives — those most likely to volunteer their time and give their money to help those less fortunate — are uncaring, greedy, haters.”

    Not good Dinesh, this embracing of thick black lines of ideology is just not helpful.

    @Brad–

    No need to limit it to college freshmen. IMO, just about anyone would benefit from this video, middle school on up.

    The more clarity and simplification we get on these issues, the better. Progressives have perfected the art form of complicating issues so that few truly understand them.
