This will be noted in 2000 years from now as the “Beginning of the Fall of the American Empire”.

Slim Pickens is great! This is the best fart scene in movie history.
Watched this with two of my grandsons and I thought one of them was going to burst his appendix from laughing so hard.

Cardigan: My mom has been in heaven for almost 7 years now, but I’ll never forget how much she laughed at that fart scene. Thanks for bringing back some really good memories.

What was that, a summation of Joe Biden’s contribution to the debate last night?

Yeah, it may be common now but this scene was groundbreaking in 1974. It was the first one talked about the next day in the halls at school, I distinctly remember.

A string of greasy farting would have been better to listen to, more informative, less offensive, less condescending by the Court Jester, more entertaining than that performance by “Plugs” Biden.
And please, someone in the dimmo camp get that joke of a leader some false teeth that fit…..i was waiting for his polygrip to turn loose last night and pull Uncle Emmitt’s favorite trick at the family dinners, his teeth drop.

I’d rather watch this ‘fart’ scene, over and over again, in lue of having to listen or watch barry, mooch, or joe, open their pie holes..PERIOD

My favorite movie of all time. After all these years, it’s still always good for a laugh.

When you get time, I’d appreciate a short video with Cloris Leachman as Nurse Diesel in High Anxiety. What a trip she was.
