To use that over-worked phrase, George was a great American.

No wonder certain segments of Obama’s base can’t relate.

    Did I mention Obama?

And what pictures do we get from 0bama’s childhood? They’re all faked or they’re of him smoking choom with his pothead friends from Hawai’i.

The perfect liberal family story. All made up and a drug addict to boot. What’s not to like?

Romney had a human dad? From the way liberals talk about him you’d think he was the spawn of Satan. :^(

I really enjoyed looking at these photos. Such a stark contrast. I remember seeing the video of Mitt rough-housing and good humoredly teasing his boys. I can see that he got it from his dad.

Mitt’s dad was flesh and blood and left loads of real memories that have served Mitt well. Obama’s dad is a ghost of a fleeting memory – one that really contributed to screwing his kid up.

To me, the key part is that his Dad looked like being a Dad and head of the family actually meant something – something he took pride in and cared about. My Dad was/is the same way and I am forever grateful. He is a hell of a man and going strong after 80 great years.

3rd worlders believe because Mitt had this kind of childhood that they too would have had this kind of childhood but he took it from them.

Nothing can break that mindset. Nothing. Its not human thought. Thus the rage and sense of entitlement.

I love the picture of him serving his mother’s birthday cake. Look how well behaved the children are? Maybe that’s why progtards are so insane these days — they let their kids go beserk all the time.

Thanks for these pix! They were great! The one of Mom’s birthday party with that row of little angels to the left looks like it could have taken place in any of our houses – not the rich and powerful.

Wish I could see the rest of them but my stupid old IE won’t view the gallery.

@reddecaesari – “mitt romney is a happy person. you can’t fake that. every picture of him, he has this smile on his face.”

Best comment of all! Same thing I was thinking looking at those photos. Mitt ENJOYED his upbringing. No axe to grind or rebel against. His life made sense to him – so he forged on cheerfully.

I followed the link to the essay about the photos and Mitt Romney. Is it just me or does it just feel great to have a candidate (no matter whose party) who has an American story. I mean where’s the bad pornographic poetry about whiskey and bodily fluid stains? Character is everything. I hope this country NEVER makes the mistake of confusing hipness for competence.

And this is why obama hates and despises a real man like Mitt Romney. Mitt had a father in his childhood, someone who looked after him, cared for him, loved him and provided for him, both spiritually and materially. Mitt was taught values, pride, manners and dignity.

obama had none of that and has none of that, and blames people like Mitt for his own unhappiness and shortcomings. obama was nothing to his parents, a useful tool, unwanted in most ways, abandoned and sent off to live with his grandparents so as not to be a burden.

He hates with a lonely heart and empty soul. He will never know anything but that feeling.

@Abigail Yes it does. Respectability has made a comeback. This is what an American president is suppose to look like and behave like. Nothing racist in saying that because all the other Republican candidates fit the description too, even Bachman.

@Jorel I hope he doesn’t do that shit. I hope he doesn’t go on the View, Ellen, Letterman or any pop tart commie show to make himself look ridiculous. Obama was just embarrassing internationally when he did those appearances. He should be a mature statesman above all that crap.

Forgive me for that off the wall post. My kid asked me a few days ago if I wanted to see something cool, and now I’m vexed. I tried to dance like that, but it hurt. So I quit. But I still like the song.

Anyway, Mitt’s got class–he was raised with it. He and his wife will bring back some elegance and style back to what was once the White House. And I believe he’ll never make a jackass out of himself trying to impress people. Also, I want to admire a classy First Lady, not wince at a class-struggling First MaMa anymore. I liked Nixon’s wife Pat. Cheers.

Mitt has a family history that he can put right out there for the world to see and judge for themselves the content of his character.

    0bama has … … … , I’m drawing a blank there.
