Jag-offs did the same thing to a bus driver here in Cincinnati. Same story. He was white. They were dark. He was minding his business driving the bus and did nothing to provoke it. Nothing but a bunch of savages that need to be ventilated the old-fashioned way. Idiots will find out too late that you don’t do this shit in a right to carry state.

I agree with Mr. Happy above, and it seems these ambushes are occurring daily now. I hope and pray that the teacher, along with the bus driver the other day and countless others, fully recover and the smug little punks are brought to swift justice.

I too had some nasty run-ins with black youth back in the 60′s and early 70′s–nothing as bad as this, though. I’m older now and would like to think, wiser. I take a lot of comfort in thinking about the legions of African Americans protecting us all right now in the military and as cops and firefighters, how any one of them would stand between any of us and a bullet or flames. (I remember vividly how a black cop came to my own aid when I was a kid.) I think of Allen West, how I’d rather have him in heartbeat as President rather than Gore, Kerry, Edwards (ha!), Reid, etc., etc. This is not to say though, that the African American community doesn’t have some mighty important work to take care of NOW & to get its house in order. The train’s at the station.
