Breakthrough for Islamic supremacy in town south of Stockholm

It looks as if Sweden is ready to stress the peaceful and benevolent character of Muslim immigration to this Lutheran Nordic country. According to the Swedish daily Aftonbladet (September 27), the town of Fittja south of Stockholm is planning to allow prayer calls from the minaret of its mosque. The spokesman for the local Islamic organization, Ismail Okur, rejoices and claims that the Muslim prayer call is like the Christians’ church bells.

Except that church bells don’t speak, they toll, whereas the Muslim prayer call proclaims a belief: There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God. But this ‘Testimony’ is only an introduction to the prescribed prayers. Every prayer should contain the first sura (chapter) of the Koran, a sura that must be repeated at every prayer and at least five times a day. It says:

Maine mayor: Somalis should leave culture at door

LEWISTON, Maine (AP) — Ten years after a Lewiston mayor set off a firestorm by saying the city’s Somali population was growing too fast, a new mayor’s remarks about the immigrant community is sparking another wave of anger and calls for his resignation.

Somali immigrants and their supporters in this former mill city in central Maine say Mayor Robert Macdonald should apologize and step down for what they call repeated anti-immigrant remarks, including telling a British Broadcasting Corp. interviewer that immigrants should “accept our culture and leave your culture at the door.”

A group of about 50 protesters rallied outside City Hall on Thursday before delivering 1,400 petitions to Macdonald’s office, asking for his resignation.

The mayor’s remarks sounded like he was telling immigrants to abandon their religion, their language and their identities, said Nimo Yonis, 26, one of an about 6,000 Somali refugees who live in Lewiston and the neighboring city of Auburn. The mayor’s words were painful, hurtful and “represent hate,” she said.

Multiple sources have confirmed that about 25 to 30 Christian college students were massacred at a university in northeastern Nigeria late Monday night, causing Christians to pray for a “change of heart” among the extremist Islamist group Boko Haram to put a stop to the continued violence.

While there is speculation as to the motive of the massacre, sources close to the human rights watchdog Open Doors USA confirm that the massacre was performed by Boko Haram.

The killings reportedly occurred in the late night hours on Oct. 1, when masked gunmen went door-to-door in the off-campus housing section of Federal Polytechnic College in Mubi, a city in the remote Adamawa State in northeastern Nigeria.

Open Doors USA sources confirmed that the gunmen separated the Christian students from the Muslim students, addressed each victim by name, questioned them, and then proceeded to shoot them or slit their throat.

“Open Doors is calling on Christians in the West to bear this horrific burden with our brothers and sisters in Mubi and Adamawa state,” Open Doors USA spokesman Jerry Dykstra said in a press release emailed to The Christian Post.

“Nigeria is becoming a killing field,” he added.

Fuentes told CP that according to a local Nigerian police chief, Monday night’s killing were performed by Boko Haram as an act of reprisal after 156 Boko Haram members were arrested in Mubi in late September.
