Climate Change: ‘Hoax’ Or Crime Of The Century?
Well, we had a warm summer here in the United States, and that brought some of the climate change alarmists out again. Looks like it’s time for another rebuttal!
John Coleman, the founder of The Weather Channel, and various other critics have called the theory that human use of carbon-based fossil fuels will lead to catastrophic global warming or climate change a “hoax.” It is, but it’s more than that, it’s criminal.
Here are some of the scientific questions at the core of this issue:
Is the climate changing? Of course. The climate always has changed and always will.
Is the earth getting warmer? We should hope so for at least two reasons: First, the world emerged from the Little Ice Age in the 19th century, so it would be worrisome if it weren’t getting warmer. Second, all the history indicates that humans thrive more during warmer periods than colder ones. It is likely, though, that earth has warmed less than many official temperature records indicate for a variety of reasons, including:

2). Antarctic Ice Sheet at record high while actic ice at record low
3). Is it warming, yes, has it warmed before yes. Is there reason to panic no.

I wish I had more time and an inclination to explore the whole Chicago Climate Exchange thing. The names of those involved read like a Who’s Who of Leftist grifters. Algore figured prominently of course and visions of being the first carbon credit billionaire strung him out on the climate change cause.

Climate change is, and always has been a political scam and power play. Most people will not live under dictatorial rule unless (1) it is to their perceived advantage to do so, or (2) they are frightened into doing so. We can see the first point occurring in numerous segments of our own society – people are willing to sell their freedom for ObamaPhones, and leftists are willing to give ObamaPhones away in exchange for political power.
However, to drive many people to accept dictatorial rule, fear is the best motivator. And what better bogey-man than “climate change,” which we know is occurring, but do not really know why or what we can do about it (aside from assuming great central power, which is the progs answer to everything real or imagined), or even if global warming is bad. And the worst part is that if the political charlatans of the world do gain power from climate change fears, you can (and will) bet your last dollar that they will never, ever find a solution to the so-called problem.

I notice most the proposed remedies to global warming (now cc) involve massive transfers of power to the federal government, or wealth to the third world.
Let the feds take over, and send trillions to Africa. That’ll solve it.

But what is really happening is that people, many in government, are spending billions of government money (i.e. our money) to give themselves power and money. When you can spend billions of OPM to make millions that go into your personal bank account you don’t worry about deficits – if, of course, you are a person with the morals of this group.

4) Ice recession has uncovered forests not suitable for subzero weather in Norway.

I contributed to a climate change discussion on a nudist website. There were only a few of us that had not swallowed the whole climate change crap hook line and sinker. Most were crying it was the end of the world as we know it and not even comment on Greenland used to be greener and the polar bears survived. You would think that with a bunch of folks like me that like to run around in our birthday suits, global warming would be welcome.
But even that group is in fear.
