Surely you ain’t just getting around to posting this for the first time, are ya? This was the first story I saw when I get up and logged on at 7:30 this morning, and now it’s the first story I see when I get home and open IOTW 12 1/2 hrs later at 8:00!!!

Okay, think about this “story” for a moment. Air time is a valuable thing. The old media is way past scraping the bottom of the barrel for bad things to say about Romney/Ryan, so now they’re trying to get everyone high on synthetics. I’m wondering just exactly what is it they signed on for? I mean, are they really supposed to continue this death spiral until barry and crew totally flame out? It sure looks that way. We see a little death rale activity from cooper and a few others from time to time, but it’s looking more and more like the ones who do bust out with an occassional truth piece are doing so because of a strong survival instinct — the way one might fight for air when being suffocated. The others, meh, maybe they’re as ground down by the total wreck they’ve made of their careers that they’ve stopped struggling against the inanity that comes out of their “newsrooms” and are into the phase where they merely appreciate the creativity of their collegial liars.
