ANOTHER MSNBC SCANDAL?

BLAZE READERS AT CAMPAIGN EVENT CLAIM NETWORK MISLED IN VIDEO OF RALLY CHANT (WITH AUDIO COMPARISON)

On Wednesday, MSNBC aired a clip of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney leading what looks like a failed “Romney-Ryan” chant at a campaign stop in Ohio on Tuesday, prompting an embarrassed Joe Scarborough to mutter “Oh, sweet Jesus” and a purse-lipped Mika Brzezinski to ask “What’s wrong with those people?” You can see our coverage of Scarborough’s outburst here, but we’ve included the clip as a refresher:

One day later, MSNBC host Martin Bashir played the same clip (minus the graphic) while explaining how Rep. Paul Ryan overshadows the former Massachusetts governor. While the clip was a little different, the message was the same.

But now things are getting interesting.

If you listen closely, it’s obvious the audio in the clip has been adjusted. However, that’s not uncommon — and that doesn‘t necessarily mean it’s MSNBC who did it. Sound technicians usually cut out the audience to ensure speakers aren’t  drowned out (which you can do by simply turning the mics up and down — or you can do after the fact). However, where the controversy comes in is in the caption on the screen quoting the audience as chanting “Ryan!” Why is that controversial? Because people who attended the event say that’s not what happened, and that the  MSNBC video grossly misrepresents what actually occurred.

During Thursday‘s edition of  The Blaze TV’s “Pat & Stu,” one caller gives her account of the campaign rally.

“The crowd was yelling,” caller Sherry recounts, “the crowd was screaming ‘Romney! Romney!’ and Romney, being the gentleman [he is], we can‘t get in his head because he’s so stinking nice, he stopped us to add ‘Romney-Ryan.’”

“And if you watch the clip again, Ryan throws up his hand like ‘oh, you don’t have to add me to the chant,’” she adds.

What does NBC News gain, in an era when they can be immediately fact checked? I’m really interesting in hearing an explanation as I’m not familiar with a group of people being mass suicidal, in a Jim Jones sort of way.

The MSM should be banned from any future Republican rallies.
Then listen to them scream about “Freedom of the press” .
Typical liberal assholes who whine about “their rights” while trampling all over someone elses.

What can one expect from this network? Why the hell do they even get support other than they are the left of left mouthpieces for NBC who are in the tank for Obama.

the crowd over at moron is loving this clip…they are convinced the election is over and Obama will win in a landslide…because of the polls…

If the polls are weighted to favor Obama as heavily as some report, prepare for the riots when Mitt wins. These leftist will be convinced that the election was “stolen” again.

Why are these polls lying? Here is my list:

    Supress Republican turn-out.

    Manipulate Campaign donations (depress conservatives).

Set up vote fraud, voter ID laws and voter intimidation as reasons for the “suprise” loss.

Pollsters weight towards the D’s since they can’t poll dead voters.

If you live in Chicago, L.A., D.C., Detroit, Baltimore, etc, I suggest you vote early, pack your stuff like a category 10 hurricane is coming and head for a very conservative rural area. It’s gonna be bad….

    Joe Scarbourough is a douche.

I guess I could never be a politician. Paul Ryan received enthusiastic response throughout his speech.

Now it’s Mitt’s turn. Accept the adulation and applause, shake hands and get on with it.

Instead, “Paul Ryan, isn’t he great?”

Um, yeah, that’s why we’ve been applauding him. Now it’s your turn, Mitt.

    Romney, Romney, Romney!

    “No, no, Romney-Ryan, Romney-Ryan.”

    OK, Romney-Ryan, Romney-Ryan.

Actually, I didn’t come here for this.

Remember way back at the beginning of the year when Stethanopoulis came out of left field with a laughable question for Romney about states banning abortion? And the “War on Women by the GOP” suddenly became a “Media Reality”? I think they’ve milked that meme dry, and it’s on the down side of the curve now.

Fast Forward to this week, and the Evil Roger Simon’s lame attmpt at satire which said Ryan was trying to distance himself from “Stench” Romney…and all the Journolists jumped on it as a fact. We all had a good laugh at their expense, but damned if they aren’t trying to make the lame joke another “Media Reality”. Good luck with that, A-holes.

Here’s the sad fact, lefties: Just like capitalism, “Romney/Ryan” is not the zero sum game you pretend it is. We like BOTH of them, not one of them at the expense of the other, and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. You know in your little black hearts that Romney chose wisely for his VP, and nothing you can do will diminish that fact.

    @Menderman — You forgot one.

0bama is a narcissist. His ego won’t let him believe that he is trailing in the polls. And the zealots that worship him won’t believe that Romney is leading anyway.

But I agree that any close state will become recount hellhole. Here’s a tragi-comedy I can see happening. Romney wins over 270 electoral votes without CA but wins CA narrowly. The libtards here in CA will demand recount after recount even though it won’t affect the election. They won’t care, and will force a bankrupt state to spend millions so they can prove that Romney didn’t win CA.

@66chevelle — They don’t like Ryan because they despise Biden. Slow Joe is an albatross around their messiah’s neck. So they naturally assume that Ryan must be too. When they found out he’s NOT, they concoct a story to force a wedge between Romney/Ryan because Obrainless and Bidet are like oil and water.

I don’t know what happened to Joe Scarborough. When he was a congressman from Fla I really admired the guy. He executed the greatest facepalm moment ever during the Bush/Gore hubbub on CNN on none other than Rahm Emmanuel. To watch him grovel while interviewing Hilary Clinton made me barf. Someone stole his nuts for sure.
