    About the same conversation I had with a black dude 2ft taller than me today!!! I’m 6ft.

    This is no shit… I see him about once a month and we have time to shoot the shit. I told him flat out he was racist for wanting to vote Obama.

    I survived, it can be done… Did I change his mind during the ensuing conversation? Probably not, but he just may have heard a few rationales he never considered.

    Paul Ryan paraphrased a Bono story which went that Europeans would walk out of the their house, look at the rich guy’s place at the top of the hill, and shake a fist and say “one day I’m gonna get that guy!”, while their American counterparts would walk out of the their house, look at the rich guy’s place at the top of the hill, and point and say “one day I’m gonna BE that guy!”

    Which leaves one to ask…where have all the Americans gone?
