The article I read mentioned that the ad agency checked the ads daily, replaced any that were damaged, had 20 extra copies on hand, and that Geller had said she would have more made if necessary.

It went on to say Geller had received enough in donations not only to cover the cost of more posters but because of the influx of funds she was receiving from the attention that she was receiving, her organization had been able to put the ads in 7 additional cities.

I’ll try to locate the article. I saved all pages earlier today but can’t find them on my drives. If that information isn’t correct, sorry.

Aaron Donovan, a spokesman for the transportation authority, said that staff members for the agency’s advertising partner, CBS Outdoor, inspect all ads each day and replace those that have been vandalized or defaced, drawing from a pool of “overage copies” provided by the advertiser.

Ms. Geller’s group provided 20 copies, Mr. Donovan said, but could send in more at its own cost if it chose to.

“I had more printed,” Ms. Geller said on Wednesday, “as I expected this.”

Could anyone here imagine writing an article about the NY subway ad defacement without mentioning Pamela Geller?

AoS did it by linking to a NewsBusters article which doesn’t mention Geller either. This is absolutely unbelievable. How can anyone possibly justify running a story on a controversy and leave out the source of the controversy? There’s no way this could be accidental. A single sentence crediting or blaming Geller for the ads would have shown there was no bias – instead they intentionally shunned her and left out the most important element of the story.

I’d suspected NewsBusters had joined the other elite blogs in the Silence Geller Campaign but didn’t have any evidence until now.
