It is unfortunate that he is too intelligent for such a dumb-downed electorate to ever be elected President by them. He would be a great one.

I heard Mr. keyes speak at a Catholic Men’s conference five or six years ago and he spoke for 45 minutes without notes or telepromters. Awesome man. He warned us against Mr. Obama back then, wish more Catholics would have listened to him. I would support him for any office!

@brad — really? That surprises me, and pains me.

Mr Keyes destroyed Alan Dershowitz during a debate on the role of religion in society.

He made Dersho says: “you have no right to think that way about homosexuals”

Keyes pointed out that while they agree on policies (no laws against sodomy, etc) Dersho wants to police the very act of THINKING.

Toward the end of that clip.

Keyes is a weapon of socialism destruction.

Dagny: I believe you can find info where he was banned from the GOP convention two years in a row. Maybe that was all B.S. but it is out there, and he didn’t show up. In my mind the guy should be a commodity. I’d put him out there front and center with Allen West, Mia whats her name from Utah, Herman Cain, etc. I believe there’s a lot of intelligent people of color ready to move conservative. And guys like this help the cause.

Guys like that embody the cause indeed.

Can’t have more American than that.

It’s tragic that he lose the senatorial race against Barack, in 2004. Had he won, no Obama in 2008.

Keyes absolutely destroyed Barry during the debates. Yet the socialist one won the race.

I like also how Keyes hammers the media: “are you working for the Democrats?”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFwI6swjN-Y

That’s how Mitt should handle the MSM.

” i thought you were a member of the media”

“are you a member of the media, or are you working for the other campaign?”

“i wanna know what I’m dealing with, that’s all.”

I’m watching O’rielly, under protest, right now. Dennis Miller say if Obama gets re alected and you make under 45k per year, quit your job and get in line. Perfect.

On August 8, 2004 – with 86 days to go before the general election – the Illinois Republican Party drafted Alan Keyes to run against Democratic Illinois Senate member and future President of the United States Barack Obama for the U.S. Senate, after the Republican nominee, Jack Ryan, withdrew due to a sex scandal…

Jack Ryan didn’t withdraw due to a sex scandal. He withdrew when his divorce records were unsealed in a dubiously legal maneuver by Obama. The vast majority of divorce records in America could be said to contain some form of “sex scandal.” That’s why they’re routinely sealed.
