IG report proves Eric Holder must resign over Fast and Furious
Andrew Cohen, a contributing editor at The Atlantic and legal analyst for CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” believes Attorney General Eric Holder must resign following this week’s scathing report by the Justice Department’s inspector general, which sharply criticized the administration’s handling of Operation Fast and Furious.
“In the end, the much-heralded, much-maligned Office of the Inspector General’s report on the ‘Fast and Furious’ gun scandal tells us what we already know: Attorney General Eric Holder should resign if President Barack Obama wins another term,” Cohen wrote in a Friday column for The Atlantic.
Cohen added Holder has failed to fix the Justice Department, which he said needed leadership after the tenure of former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and the Bush administration.
The Justice Department’s Public Affairs director, Tracy Schmaler, has said the inspector general’s report “cleared,” “exonerated,” and “vindicated” Holder, claims that a variety of media outlets and pundits have repeated uncritically. But Cohen, a left-leaning journalist, plainly was not convinced.
“Even viewing the documents and investigation in a light most favorable to the current head of the Justice Department, even discounting the conspiracy theories offered by the Administration’s most ardent critics, the Inspector General’s report tells us that Holder ultimately failed to do what he absolutely had to do at Justice when he succeeded caretaker Attorney General Michael Mukasey in early 2009,” Cohen wrote.

Holder is going bald. This must be eating him up inside. I hope he’s slurping Maalox like ice cream. He should take what little conscience he has left, resign with a full explanation of F&F to include Obama’s role, apologize and find a nice, quiet spot to end his life.

Not resign, he must be impeached. And he needs to be replace by someone of good character chosen by Romney — not by the traitor 0bama.
0bama would just replace him with a muslim who is just as corrupt, he needs that spot filled by somebody who will follow illegal orders and promote islam and sharia law.

He’s not going to resign, he’s a corrupt sociopath who’s got to be getting big personal gains from this lawless administration just like the rest of them. Plus on some level, believes he’s doing good things.
Eric Witholder believes in Critical Race Theory (look it up if you havent heard of this before) so this “fundamental transformation” thing appeals to him so he can help get even for slavery. But people like this don’t help other blacks/minorities/poor folks out. See slumlord Valerie Jarrett for how much regard these nut jobs have for people with the same skin color.
There’s other nonmonetary motivation for him to not resign. He and the 0bamanites are connected with quite a few violent folks such as the Nation of Islam and Holder doesn’t want to end up like Vince Foster and God only knows how many others. I’m going to stop typing here, if I think about this much longer my blood pressure will skyrocket more than energy prices.

@Norman; He’ll be one of the last ditch acts of desperation getting thrown under the bus. He is one of the few infiltrators who actually HAS Authority to “keep Obuma’s ass out of a fire”. He can make investigations and cases disappear or be shuffled and shelved. Obama is counting on Eric to be his “emergency” Get Out of Jail Free” card, and Holder is counting on a last minute pardon for whatever he does to protect “his people”. Of course this time his people only include his people in the Obamarx MisAdministration!

So after all of the delays and obfuscation, after months and months of work to cover their tracks, and even Executive Pribblidge… Now the finally have an “Official Report” that “clears and vindicates” Holder and Obama of even ever hearing about Fast and Furious. Nope. They were on the golf course, killing Bin Laden, yadda yadda yadda… Holder definately was not in charge of F&F!
OK, so even if anybody believed that crock of crap, Holder should be FIRED for Gross Negligence, and not even bothering to care what was happening in the Dept that He was HEAD of!!!
