    Is Obama the Antichrist? We’ll find out sooner or later. Hidden signs, number representations, symbols, synonymic words, dreams, reading into text, etc., are sincere and good attempts, but no one, not even Jesus Christ himself knows the day or the hour of redemption–The Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Son of Perdition must come first though, and then shall the Lord and his angels come–this is expressed in the scriptures in several passages. It’s like the Devil’s last get-down-an-bogey (lasting seven years to be exact) before being cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity, never to bother God and his people again.

    I believe what I believe and I don’t need someone else trying to use their interpretation of somebody else’s interpretation of the word of God so as to change me so they think that they have “scored” some kind of heaven points…or something.

    I totally agree with you. I try not to be religious at all. All my money is riding on the Bible being the true word of God and I don’t need some imperfect human giving me his or her interpretation of it. I like to do my own interpretation on my own time in my own home where I am at peace.
    Not knocking Church. I still think it needs to start in the church. But in the last days there will be false prophets. Gotta be real careful.

    I have never in my life hated listening to a President, not Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton. But I can not listen to this guy.
    He reminds me of a punk on the corner. They say, the media say, that he is brilliant. Shit. I just don’t see it. But I am not a bright guy.

    First of all, MoeTom, Obama is smooth and slick (or he was in 2008) but I don’t think he’s Satin… he’s more like a Chinese Polyester/Pleather blend!

    Far as the Bawrack Bamah thing, that was noted before the immaculation, and shot down (by Libs and Rinos alike)right along with the birth cert argument. I don’t put too much stock in the whole “hidden code” and numerology thing. I mean it is definately possible that God could have installed a secret “mathematical phenomonon” in the Divinely Inspired writings of several men over centuries of writings, and it all work out perfect harmony (just like the Human Body and The entire Universe). But I don’t think He would have found it necessary to make things that complicated for us. He wants us to understand His Word. He and I are pretty darn close, in fact closer than “MOST” (NOT ALL, by any means), and He’s never led me to anything of the sort… except the websites claiming Jesus said that. Which is very possible he did.

    Jor’El I’m not too sure about that. The Bible says that when Jesus ascended to the Right Hand of the Father, that ALL things were made known unto Him.
    But that is a debate that will endure unanswered until that day comes I guess.

    @Unruly, you don’t know what you are missing; I was reared on some Hellfire and Brimstone preaching. I love how it scared me straightway! (I still went on to smoking and drinking and causing trouble). But I’m Saved, and got it together in my twenties, whilst I was still young. I’ve been a born again believer for over 47 years now, and have witnessed much from local churches to Billy Graham to ghetto missions in the inner city to the preaching of both Jew and Gentile from all walks of life. I got several preachers in the family on my Mother’s side. Anyway, something has been brewing for a long time, and Islam seems to be in the spotlight along with a worldwide spirit of call it what you want but it ain’t love for God. Jesus can return at the end of this sentence or a thousand more years from now. In the meantime, we are to keep the faith–no matter what.

    If you move to Canada, the place worth being is Alberta.

    The only province that has property rights, lowest taxes and is the most conservative province in Canada.

    Fraser Report just put out their 2011 annual report on social and economic freedom in North America and again, Alberta ranked #3 place to live in North America and #1 in Canada.

    #5 overall in the world- however I am sure that the parasite province of Cubec diminished our overall standing, without them Canada would have probably ranked #3 or better in the world.

    Medicine Hat is nice, dry sunny climate, 45 min to Montana and a great place to live.
