I tried to explain this to an old WWII vet yesterday, who surprisingly said that he liked Obama, and it went over his head.

This man fought at Iwo Jima for goodness sakes. Honestly, I could not understand how this old warrior could ever like Obama.

He said that he was sitting this election out because he didn’t like either candidate now. Hopefully that’s true of a lot of 2008 Obama sorta-supporters….

What I can’t figure out is why Obama is up in most polls. A dead bloated swamp rat floating in the Dismal Swamp should be 20 points ahead in my book…and to 80% of the people I know.

Check the post on the robo poll calling. If you are not there to answer your landline phone when the call comes in, their computer takes your lack of response as a vote for Obama….

I saw that muddjuice, but I follow the RCP polls and the were very close in 2008 and 2010. They have Obama up 3.3 (nationwide)…that is insane!

Polls

Whether republican or democrat, liberal or conservative, good or bad, can NEVER be trusted.

Polls are used to sway public opinion and make the average person voting with common sense think twice because of “mob mentality”. If everyone else is voting for abortion I might as well too.

People do things when they are with a mob that they would never have the guts to do alone. Polls encourage this behavior.

I like the simple visual graphs like this, they are easy to understand and I think they get the point across in a stronger manner that is remembered longer than if the story were told with just words.

I still can’t figure this out. Shouldn’t the ranges across the top be; Top 1%, 2%-5%, 6%-10%, 11%-25%, 26%-50%, Bottom 50%?

Big KUDOS to all of you who are still in there pitching! Good for you!! Keep in mind that when confronted with new info a lot of our head-in-the-sand friends, family, and neighbors will feign disinterest or try to put up a straw man just because they’ve been caught not knowing. It’s a libtard pride thing. We can’t let that deter us because you can’t unring the bell and these people will be haunted by your revelation and many will begin to question their assumptions. I start with “I bet you already knew this.” or “You’re so much smarter than me, I’m sure you could probably tell me more about this than I could tell you.” Don’t laugh, it works.

Theoretically, those graphics should be easy for progtards to understand. The above graphs remind me of when I used little colored, interlocking cubes to teach my son the basics of math when he was about, oh, five years old. I’m not sure that progtards have even that much of a mental capacity to learn.
