WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A new report put out by the Pew Research Center finds that the median income is worse now than it was during the Great Recession.

47% of the population has no way of understanding 1932 dollars against today’s dollars.

In 1932 as a result of the depression top earners making more than $1,000,000 OR $16,400,000 in today’s dollars were taxed at 69%. In 1936 this went up to 79% but only on income over $5,000,000 or $80,700,000 in today’s dollars… This went on through the 60′s at various rates but was the highest during WWII at 94% and that was on income in today’s dollars of $2,750,000 WHICH IS A SHITLOAD MORE THAN today’s $250,000 “richies.”
