As soon as the first little munchkin runs into these and rips his/her eye out with broken shards of glass tubes these idiots will open-mouthed, slack-jawed exclaim, “Never saw that one coming.”
Oh, and I wonder if they promised a prom date or something to the dork that pretended he was from the Republican party?
Half billion dollar LiteBrite set. That’s just fucking great.
Stranded in Sonoma
…which is very cool, and we use the glass rods…to bring cool air and light into this space.
But you had to build the space first, you twit. It didn’t exist and wouldn’t have without…hmmm, let me think…OH YEAH! $500 Million taxpayer dollars!
Republicans are calling [it] the most expensive artwork ever produced. The designers say that is ridiculous.
What? So all pieces of artwork from the beginning of time have cost $500 million? Or is this just so much better than all the others it was worth it? Yeah. Tell that to all of us 23 million out of work. How much did you get paid for this?
While we may have our own personal opinions about politics…
Yeah, like $500 million tax dollars to pay for some glass rods stuck through a concrete box is a great liberal investment in art. Question for the libtard “artists:” How much in tax dollars will it cost for the upkeep?
The garden’s director just hopes the exhibit will bring in more visitors.
Do they have to pay admission? If so, you’re making money, right? Off of an exhibit that cost the taxpayers $500 million, right? Which means a cut of each ticket sale should go to the US Treasury, RIGHT?
So if a political discourse has by itself brought people into the garden, then I would say, “Finally politics has done something useful for us.”
Ow. OW. OWWW. OWWWWWW My frikin’ brain hurts!!!!
So if Obama loses in November can I sew his mouth shut with lace and make his head into a performance art football?
As soon as you hear the word, “installation” you know you have some no-talent hack without a shred of artistic ability trying to pass off some lame ass idea for art.
You are in the same world you were in in college when you had an endless semester stuck in a required class with some distinguished professor of color who has advanced degrees in ethnic studies.
You are in television world, where even a lame ass installation can be twisted into fodder to attack Republicans.
I wish it was confined to Berkeley.
Sonoma hits it out of the park!
Were they marijuana plants in the garden?
No. No, I don’t want to hear Berkeley leftists talking about anything.
Love the title, though! Lol!

@Moe Tom — Those are for medicinal purposes ONLY, and would never be used for any other purpose.
Like getting high and designing “art” that is nothing more than what @bfpa61 said.
I’m inspired. A pair of safety goggles and a sledge hammer, and I’m ready for some performance art. I’ll call it “The Adult Version of Kikcing Over a Sandcastle”. I’m hopeful my grant from the NEA will show up soon.
Yeah, in Berkely, artificial environments are almost as cool as LSD.
“Celebrate Failure, 0bama 2012″
What I found funny, was that the damn things couldn’t be recycled. How green is that?
Maybe he should’ve also mentioned the German company that made those is still owed 8 million dollars.
Glad he loves his stolen art.
No, I’d rather not.
Isn’t that what liberals do? Build monuments to failure..
OK, OK–I watched it and have concluded the cure for these people’s mental disease is to be airdropped directly into an Arab spring protest.
It’s so jejune.
Just imagine what these assclowns called artists could do with some twigs and some pebbles, probably keep entertained for weeks.
Can we throw the entire West Coast out of the Union?
These airheads are hopeless.
Stick the glass up you know where and then they are really useful.
