The Audacity of Clinton
Let there be no mistake. Clinton is admired by leftists, just like Ted Kennedy was, for his ability to bald face lie without a hint of remorse. That is what makes them swoon. It’s like magicians that really admire other magicians – it’s hard to impress professional liars. Clinton is Houdini.

Politics takes a lot of brass. And Bill Clinton is a master politician. His rousing speech at the Democrats’ convention told the delegates that Republicans “want to go back to the same old policies that got us into trouble in the first place.”
That is world class brass. Bill Clinton’s own administration, more than any other, promoted an unsustainable housing boom, which eventually and inevitably led to a housing bust that brought down the whole American economy.
Behind all the complex financial processes that reached to Wall Street and beyond, there is one fundamental fact: many people stopped making their mortgage payments.
Why did that happen? Because mortgage loans were made to people who did not meet the long-established qualification standards for getting a mortgage loan. And why did that happen? Because the Clinton administration threatened lawsuits against lenders who did not approve mortgage loans to minority applicants as often as to white applicants.
Presto!
In other words, racial quotas replaced credit qualifications. A failure to have racial statistics on mortgage approvals that fit the government’s preconceptions was equated with discrimination.

Replace ‘lenders’ with ‘schools’ and ‘mortgage loans’ with ‘education’ and you might get an indication of what’s happened to the American education system.
Course you could do the same for many segments of society, like business and industry and the military.

I think what many do not consider, is that prejudice is necessary in lending. No, not what you are thinking. If someone has a bad credit score, you can pretty much “Pre Judge” that they will not pay a future obligation any better that their past ones.
Color or race is not the issue. The credit score is ,as we saw in the meltdown.

Clinokio is a sociopath. He simply has no conscience. He does not know that telling a lie is wrong. Get that? He does not know. In Bill’s mind NOT getting away with telling a lie is wrong. Bill-n-Baloney Legs both know the MSM will cover for them. Hook either of the Clintons up to a lie detector and in less than a minute the best lie detector in the world would cry uncle.

Even “Smilin Bill” wouldn’t be getting away with this if it weren’t for the press. Here’s what we do. Every conservative buy a share (or a few) of Disney stock (about 60% is owned by institutions who’ll sell when the price goes up) and then sign their proxies (voting rights) over to Sarah Palin. With enough shares she’ll be able to appoint board members and that will allow the muscle to bring ABC news back to real journalism (the lefties on the board would happily trade that off). You can’t do that with NBC or CBS because they have some limited special class shares that have multiple votes tied to each share. I know it will never happen but imagine the panic on the left as millions of Americans, of every economic class enter the fray to force honesty and nonpartisonship back into journalism.
