We need a president of the UNITED STATES
Democrats and their sharky Obamedia defense lawyers are in a snit. For three dreamy convention days in Charlotte, they told themselves that, for the first time in decades, it was their guy who had the upper hand when it came to national security. Now that bubble has burst, the way contrived
narratives do when they crash into concrete challenges. At that point, an airy president of the world won’t do; we need to have a president of the United States, a job that has never suited, and has never been of much interest to, Barack Obama.

It is “funny” that a video supposedly caused this but not Biden standing at the DNC screaming that Obama killed Osama. Those were fighting words in my mind.
I’m old and I admit it but all of this brings to mind “The Merry Minuet” by the Kingston Trio (circa early 60s written in 1958). The first line of the lyrics

Let’s face it – Islamic nations, the Muslim Brotherhood, and many Middle Eastern countries just don’t like us. This hatred preceded Bin Laden (both his rise and his fall), the trailer to Innocence of Muslims, or any perceived slight any American has made with regard to Islam. These people hate America because it is strong, prosperous and free.
There really is not anything we can do to change this attitude – bowing to Middle Eastern leaders won’t help, apologizing for Americans exercising First Amendment rights won’t help, even try to make America less prosperous, strong or free won’t help. Too many foreign leaders have too much invested in inciting their people to hate America.
We need a President who recognizes this, and recognizes that the world is a dangerous place. Jimmy Carter tried the “human rights” and “let’s play nice” gambit, and it failed miserably. We need a President who clearly communicates to the rest of the world that his primary duty is to protect America, and he will do so whether or not we are hated or liked.

How do you stand there, after being warned days in advance about the threat on our Libyan Consulate, ON SEPTEMBER 11th, no less, and doing absolutely NOTHING to prevent it, and then, upon hearing the news that our Ambassador and three other patriots serving this country were brutally murdered and sodomized by a fully armed, 400 strong mob of Al Qaedans, and YOU respond to this ACT OF WAR by slipping onto Air Force One for a fundraiser in Las Vegas and a Letterman appearance while the Middle East burns and our other diplomatic properties slip into chaos across the planet, and you…you stand there, asking the American people for another term with a straight fucking face?

Chief,yep. Got to punch hard. I can’t watch tv snippets or interviews with any Obama people, just can’t take it. Any of you strong iotwers,can you tell me if the president has answered any questions yet? Have the media asked any real questions yet?
Everywhere are reports that there were warnings, they did nothing. The fact it was Sept.11 alone, and they did nothing.
Looking at Drudge just a second ago, seems like the world is on fire, and the only taglines there from the white house are Bagdad Bob denials, and/ or ridiculous smokescreens.
Obama left the middle east with a vacuum, and we are in one too.
