That’s great. That’s as good as the dog-sledding video from last winter:

Too cute!
Reminds me of my beagle-buddy playing with a woochuck in my yard.
Did you guys know that when a woodchuck is cornered he lets out a “BEEP” that would do the roadrunner proud?!?
Everytime my little dog got too close to the chuck, it would hunker down and then let out this really loud “BEEP” right in the dogs face making her jump back, run in circles, then throw her head back and howl back at it!
Funny as hell to watch and if I ever get my camcorder working I will post the vid here.

That crab is smarter than the dog.
He just tacked back and forth across the sand, getting ever closer to the water’s edge.
The pup’s reaction, when he finally realized that his little toy had disappeared, was priceless.

When I was a kid my dad used to breed dachshunds from a pair of just wonderful dogs. Still got a soft spot for those little monsters. I’ve seen one kill a four foot rattler like it was an idle amusement.

Ahhhh, thanks; I needed that.
I have a soft spot in my heart for wiener dogs. Had a Wiener-Beagle mix once. She was the smartest dog ever.
Usually prefer larger dogs. Had a German Shepard; dumb as a bag of rocks but the sweetest thing on four legs.

Looks like a younger version of our old Katrina rescue hound. Could hav been one of her grandchildren.

If you rally want a funny dachshund video, watch Jerry the Dog on YouTube. He had his own tennis ball launcher.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crab move that fast.
Cool video.
Stranded in Sonoma

I was expecting the crab to try to burrow into the sand to get away. Which would have been a serious mistake. Dachshunds were bred to go after badgers and such by digging them out of the ground.
@norman was right. That crab looked like Barry Sanders weaving his way through the secondary for a touchdown. The survival instinct is strong with this one.
