WaPo is blathering …
Ruth Marcus wants Romney to apologize for acting Presidential when the current President didn’t
“There are anti-American fires burning all across the globe; President Obama’s words are like kindling to them,” Romney wrote in “No Apology: The Case for American Greatness.”Romney repeated this falsehood in his acceptance speech in Tampa, claiming that Obama launched his presidency “with an apology tour.” [...]
So when the U.S. Embassy in Cairo released a statement condemning “the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims,” Romney was predisposed to see it through the distorted, if politically convenient, lens of apology.
So the embassy statement wasn’t a real apology, but the White House disavowed it later in the day (while Holder’s FBI decided to pursue the filmmaker). Even later, Hillary issued a statement that actually returned to the same themes iterated by the embassy. Gobsmacked, Charles Krauthammer said
The worst line in the clip you showed was this where she said there are different views around the world about the outer limits of free speech. Why is she engaging in a disquisition on free speech with the mob? The implication here that, perhaps the mob is right, that we ought to be suppressing anything that offends Islam, this is a nation where somebody puts a crucifix in bottle of urine and it ends up in a museum. We allow all kind of expression. But perhaps we ought to make an exception in the case of Islam. This is absurd.

Exactly how he captures his base vote. Somewhere in all that, yes we did, no we didn’t, verbal gymnastics, is what an Obama voter wants to hear.

Any attentive American can see their flimsy back pedaling.
Yet Hillary still remains confused with “why?”
The Left would be rioting with torches and pitchforks right now if there was a Republican in the WH. We will oust all amateurs come November.
And we will do it for our forebearers who died for this country. I have several military men in my family who did just that.
They have left us with that responsibility.

Ya know, Romney needs to make a regular theme out of refusing to apologize. We’re no worse than the best most countries can muster, and better by a far sight than all of them.

Two candidates had an opportunity to look presidential. One of them did.
And Obama just looked like he always does… a bloodless mental case trying to pretend he deserves a seat at the grownup’s table.
There are only two questions we need answered by Hillary and Obozo. What did they know and when did they know it?
This catastrophic failure in leadership is also an impeachable offense if they had warnings and failed to act. And it appears that’s exactly what happened.
