Obama Rewrites Full-Time Employment Definition

Breitbart

A year and a half after the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, bureaucrats at the IRS and Health and Human Services issued an 18-page report outlining new regulations that will dramatically increase health care costs for small and large businesses alike.

This can also be called The Dream Act

The regulations, written by an IRS attorney, arbitrarily redefine “full time employee” as someone who works 30 hours a week for a business. Traditionally, most private businesses have defined “full time employee” as someone who works 40 hours a week. With this new regulation, the federal government is now removing the right of businesses to define “full time employee” as they deem appropriate for their unique conditions.

My oldest son graduated from college a last year, and in his job search, most of the positions available were 30 hours or less. Furthermore, many of his classmates and friends were in the same boat – there were jobs available, but they were 30 hours or less.

There may be no better way to screw up an economy than what the Democrats have been doing for the past few years. They pass laws and regulations based upon their warped view of “social justice” for whoever is the common man (or woman) of the moment, and expect that private businesses will meekly accept these new burdens.

The reality is, though, that compliance costs money, and in many instances costs a lot of money. As a result, private businesses are engaged in a battle with government regulators in an effort to avoid coming under the regulations in the first place or to otherwise minimize the financial burden these regulations impose – and our society is overall poorer because of this conflict.

back in 1999 or 2000 – and somehow possibly for algores benefit, the clintoons “progressively redefined” a “job” from 2000hrs/ year/ person to just any, ol’ 2000hrs…not a PEEP from the mudslingmedia–any idea how many totally bogus jobs billy took credit for by scrapin up all the over-time hours, all the part-time hours and then dividing by 2000?

hmmm, I beleve that law has already been in place in some states, like mine. If an employee worked 30 hrs or more, it is full time(been like that a while. Wyatt, your kid just graduated college and you side with the repubs? Low paying job and no benefits are what they are all about. the blame goes directly to the gop for these shitty jobs. they want no more public sector jobs with benefits or security. Private sector is terrible with that, low pay, no rights.

Everything under the sun has been and is being redefined by the insane and destructive loons on the left. What else can we expect when the Socialist ideology demands destruction of everything, particularly human life?
