Dinesh D’Souza responds
EXCLUSIVE: ’2016 Obama’s America’ Filmmaker Reacts To President’s Slam; Looking For Network To Air Before Election; Says Mainstream Media Refusing Coverage
’2016: Obama’s America’ Docu Slammed By President’s Campaign As “Lies”
Dinesh D’Souza is the conservative author of the best-seller The Roots Of Obama’s Rage which was the basis for the #2 political documentary of all time 2016 Obama’s America. He is also its co-director. He answers today’s slam on the film by the Obama-Biden campaign, which comes just as the movie is hot in battleground states and its producers are looking for a network to air it before the November election. D’Souza attacks the mainstream media for “refusing” coverage:
DEADLINE: What is your reaction to today’s Obama-Biden campaign slam of 2016 Obama’s America??
DINESH D’SOUZA: “I welcome Obama’s critique of the film. He has probably figured out that he cannot ignore it any longer. Obama’s response is a characteristic mix of name calling and false allegations. Some of the claims he makes refer to things that are not even in the film. Elsewhere Obama just gets it wrong. For example, he disputes that he funded $2 billion in Brazilian oil exploration. In reality, Obama has given billions of dollars not only to Brazil but also to Colombia and Mexico to drill for oil. On March 19, 2011, Obama gave a speech in Brazil in which he deplored the legacy of colonialism, promised technology and support for Brazilian energy development, and concluded “when you are ready to start selling we want to be one of your best customers”. The facts in the film stand up very well to the closest scrutiny. I think people should see 2016 and make up their own minds.

How long do you think before he and his family are audited by the IRS, visited by the Secret Service and the FBI, and how long before he is arrested, detained and threatened?

Liars accusing other people of lying. If the consequences weren’t so serious it would be laughable.

Another D’Souza interview, with a pretty interesting take on Obama’s ‘Uncle Tom’ Kenyan grandfather: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/09/11/why-did-obama-use-n-word-to-describe-his-grandfather/

I saw the movie last Tuesday night.
Alleged anti-colonialism goes a long way to explain Obama’s hatred for America and other Western countries. Anti-colonialism is how Obama can reconcile being Communist, Muslim, gay and Kenyan/Indonesian.

It’s a damned shame that America is no longer the country to which Dinesh D’Souza chose to immigrate .

The time is coming. Either this Traitor President will be removed from office by force or by vote or we will have a Civil War in The United States of America.

I’m still waiting for the movie to come to my town. I haven’t been to a theater since Passion of the Christ. Have to have a good reason to go because Hollywood is on my “do not pay” list.

There’s another great movie coming out on (I think) the 24th — “Last Ounce of Courage” — I don’t mind spending limited funds on these films because it sends an unmistakeable message to the gov’t and to leftist hollywood. Especially since I just read a story yesterday how on the skids hollywood’s films are this year. Very, very low boxoffice.

@Mountain Dog–
I echo what AbigailAdams says. Please make every effort to see the movie, even if you have to travel a distance. You will not be sorry in the slightest.
D’Souza’s message needs to be seen and heard widely; plus, your attendance is one more vote for freedom of speech. The MSM wants to shut this movie down. Let them know what they’re full of.

I will see it. Just prefer to see it in the small town I live near. Closest one right now is about 50 miles away. It will get here, and I won’t miss it after reading what good people like you have been saying about it.

D’Souza’s description of Obama’s dead father as “an inebriated Luo tribesman” is below the bar for a college President, even one with only a BA in English. Mr. Obama Snr. could not have been always drunk. But D’Souza is bent on desecrating the Obama lineage, describing Obama as “the most dangerous man in America.” Here D’Souza usurps the FBI’s role, and his description could place Obama in somebody’s crosshairs. Free speech is a fine thing, but eh speaker must be cognizant of possible consequences. D’Souza is convinced that the son of an African tribesman should not be in the White House. However, Obama is the son of an American, also. The fact that this is of no significance for D’Souza may be related to his perspective on colonialism in Africa. The perspective reveals a savage delight in the misfortunes of Africans. Millions of human beings were exterminated in Africa, through often racially-justified, colonial conquests, military repression, and economic policies. D’Souza asserts: “colonization in Africa was a tragedy – but it might not have been had colonization lasted longer, as it did in India.” This remark is morally equivalent to a recommendation that the Holocaust should have continued. Despite claiming that Africans deserved a longer period of extermination, Dinesh D’Souza has had a stellar career in the United States: “D’Souza is a prominent voice in American politics and has been affiliated with a number of top conservative organizations and publications, including the American Enterprise Institute, Heritage Foundation, Hoover Institution, and Policy Review. He also served as a policy advisor to President Ronald Reagan. http://www.fdlmovies.com/reviews.iml?Movie=1174 In certain European countries, it is against the law to deny that the Holocaust took place. Dinesh D’Souza, however, can recommend an extension of the most sordid inflictions of death and destruction on Africans, the magnitude of which certainly exceeds the Holocaust, and be richly rewarded. Should the Anti-Defamation League not call for a boycott of “2016: Obama’s America? Shouldn’t D’Souza be asked to disclose who funded the production?”
